第二十章

TAURUS.

金牛

[1] Whoever has the Ascendant in the 1st degree of Taurus will be an inspired seer, but one accustomed to prophesy in temples. Whoever have the Ascendant in the 2nd degree of Taurus will carry dung; they will clean latrines and sewers. Whoever have the Ascendant in the 3rd degree of Taurus will be farmers and ploughmen. Whoever have the Ascendant in the 4th degree of Taurus will be famous actors of the stage, who win the distinction of crowns in the sacred contests.

〔一〕凡上升点在金牛第一度的人，会成为有神灵附体的预言者，但却是惯于在神庙里预言的。凡上升点在金牛第二度的人，会搬运粪便；他们会清扫厕所与阴沟。凡上升点在金牛第三度的人，会成为农夫与犁田人。凡上升点在金牛第四度的人，会成为著名的舞台演员，在神圣的竞赛中赢得冠冕的殊荣。

[2] Whoever has the Ascendant in the 5th degree of Taurus, with Mars placed there or joined by a threatening aspect, will die as a result of grave offenses. Whoever have the Ascendant in the 6th degree of Taurus will be male prostitutes, given over to every vice of impurity, rheumy cinaedi, but such as a grave infamy always assails. Whoever has the Ascendant in the 7th degree of Taurus will be a haruspex, an augur, a conjurer. Whoever has the Ascendant in the 8th degree of Taurus, advanced to new and sudden honors, will die suddenly.

〔二〕凡上升点在金牛第五度的人，火星落在那里或以带威胁的相位相结，会因严重的冒犯而死。凡上升点在金牛第六度的人，会成为男妓，沉溺于一切不洁的恶习，是多黏液流注的娈宠，却总受沉重污名的侵袭。凡上升点在金牛第七度的人，会成为脏卜师、鸟卜师、幻术师。凡上升点在金牛第八度的人，被擢升到新的、突然的荣誉，会突然死去。

[3] Whoever have the Ascendant in the 9th degree of Taurus will be base, infamous, polluted by the stain of all vices. Whoever have the Ascendant in the 10th degree of Taurus will be wicked, malignant, malicious, and such as are shaken by all the misfortunes of unhappiness. But these will always die by a violent death. Whoever have the Ascendant in the 11th degree of Taurus swell up, their body corrupted by malignant humors, and will die dropsical.

〔三〕凡上升点在金牛第九度的人，会卑贱、声名狼藉，被一切恶习的污点所玷污。凡上升点在金牛第十度的人，会邪恶、恶毒、心怀恶意，被不幸的一切灾祸所摇撼。但这些人总以横死死去。凡上升点在金牛第十一度的人，身体被恶性的体液败坏而肿胀，会患水肿而死。

[4] Whoever have the Ascendant in the 12th degree of Taurus perish burned up by fire. Whoever has the Ascendant in the 13th degree of Taurus will be an overseer of athletes or a master of the wrestling school. Whoever has the Ascendant in the 14th degree of Taurus, his body will be possessed by foul odors, so that he always sweats out the wretched poison of a goatish stench. Whoever have the Ascendant in the 15th degree of Taurus will be liars and separated from all faith in the truth. They will also be gluttons, slaves to the lusts of the gullet and the belly.

〔四〕凡上升点在金牛第十二度的人，被火烧死。凡上升点在金牛第十三度的人，会成为运动员的督导或摔角学校的教练。凡上升点在金牛第十四度的人，身体会被恶臭所占据，以致总是渗出公羊般臭气的可怜毒汗。凡上升点在金牛第十五度的人，会成为说谎者，远离对真理的一切信守。他们也会是贪食的人，做喉咙与肚腹之欲的奴隶。

[5] Whoever have the Ascendant in the 16th degree of Taurus will be defiled with all vices. Whoever have the Ascendant in the 17th degree of Taurus will be ironsmiths. Whoever have the Ascendant in the 18th degree of Taurus will always be slaves, lowly bakers. Whoever have the Ascendant in the 19th degree of Taurus will be sterile, men to whom children are always denied. But if Mars is in that very degree, they will die either falling from a height or in a wet place or in water.

〔五〕凡上升点在金牛第十六度的人，会被一切恶习所玷污。凡上升点在金牛第十七度的人，会成为铁匠。凡上升点在金牛第十八度的人，总会是奴隶，是卑下的面包师。凡上升点在金牛第十九度的人，会不育，是总得不到子女的人。但倘若火星就在那一度，他们会或从高处坠落而死，或死在潮湿之地或水中。

[6] Whoever have the Ascendant in the 20th degree of Taurus will be polluted by foul impurity, cinaedi who are slaves to wretched lusts. But if this is the nativity of a woman, she will be publicly prostituted in a brothel. Whoever have the Ascendant in the 21st degree of Taurus will die pierced by lances. Whoever have the Ascendant in the 22nd degree of Taurus will be hunchbacked, ridiculous, and will die a violent death.

〔六〕凡上升点在金牛第二十度的人，会被污秽的不洁所玷污，是做可怜情欲奴隶的娈宠。但倘若这是女人的本命，她会在妓院里公开卖身。凡上升点在金牛第二十一度的人，会被长矛刺穿而死。凡上升点在金牛第二十二度的人，会驼背、可笑，并横死。

[7] Whoever have the Ascendant in the 23rd degree of Taurus will be hoarse-voiced pimps, cinaedi always polluted by the stain of infamy. But if the benefic planets are either in that very place or have aspected this same place by a trine aspect, they will be tragic actors, comic actors, ceruces [text uncertain]. Whoever have the Ascendant in the 24th degree of Taurus will be musicians. But if the malefic planets aspect this same place, they will die by a violent death.

〔七〕凡上升点在金牛第二十三度的人，会是嗓音嘶哑的皮条客，是总被污名玷污的娈宠。但倘若吉星或就在那个位置，或以三分照着这同一个位置，他们会成为悲剧演员、喜剧演员、刻鲁刻斯〔原文疑有讹误〕。凡上升点在金牛第二十四度的人，会成为乐师。但倘若凶星照着这同一个位置，他们会横死。

[8] Whoever have the Ascendant in the 25th degree of Taurus will be fullers or at any rate barbers. Whoever have the Ascendant in the 26th degree of Taurus will, with one eye put out, also become deaf. Whoever have the Ascendant in the 27th degree of Taurus will be pantomimes, but cinaedi. Whoever have the Ascendant in the 28th degree of Taurus will possess much; a heap of riches acquired from boundless gains will come to them. But in their later life they will be wretched.

〔八〕凡上升点在金牛第二十五度的人，会成为漂洗匠，或至少是理发匠。凡上升点在金牛第二十六度的人，一只眼被弄瞎，也会耳聋。凡上升点在金牛第二十七度的人，会成为哑剧演员，却是娈宠。凡上升点在金牛第二十八度的人，会拥有许多；从无边的收益得来的一堆财富会归于他们。但在晚年他们会困苦。

[9] Whoever has the Ascendant between the horns of Taurus will be a king or a general. Whoever has the Ascendant in the right horn will be a prince or a general, great, glorious, terrible, and one to whom naval command is entrusted, or who leads an army of foot. He will subjugate some cities and free others. But offspring is denied to him forever. For him, too, eunuchs will be born fortunate enough, and men to whom the protection of the kingdom is entrusted [text uncertain]. They will bestow much on many. Statues and inscriptions alike are decreed for them, but afterwards, having offended the emperor, they will die by an evil death.

〔九〕凡上升点在金牛两角之间的人，会成为国王或将军。凡上升点在右角的人，会成为君王或将军，伟大、荣耀、可怕，被托付海军统帅之职，或率领步兵。他会降服一些城市，解放另一些。但子嗣永远与他无缘。为他也会生出相当幸运的阉人，以及被托付王国护卫的人〔原文疑有讹误〕。他们会把许多东西赐给许多人。雕像与铭文都为他们而定，但后来他们冒犯了皇帝，会以恶死死去。

[10] The Ship also rises with Taurus. Those who have the Ascendant there will be merchants, always cheerful and glad. But if a benefic planet is there, they will be powerful shipowners. But if the testimony of Mars and of the Moon is also added, they will lead an army both by sea and by land, set over horse and foot. But these will die by the anger or indignation of the emperor. Those, however, who have the Ascendant in the Ship itself will be sailors, helmsmen, merchants, or builders and architects of ships.

〔十〕船座也随金牛升起。上升点在那里的人，会成为商人，总是愉快欢喜。但倘若一颗吉星在那里，他们会成为有权势的船东。但倘若再加上火星与月亮的见证，他们会由海陆两路统领军队，统辖骑兵与步兵。但这些人会死于皇帝的愤怒或义愤。然而上升点就在船座本身的人，会成为水手、舵手、商人，或船的建造者与设计师。

GEMINI.

双子

[1] Whoever have the Ascendant in the 1st degree of Gemini, if Saturn has been found in that degree, or if Saturn has aspected it by any aspect whatever, will be powerful, great, the foremost men of their province, to be feared by their fellow citizens with the greatest honor; but these will die with the greatest indignation of the emperor.

〔一〕凡上升点在双子第一度的人，倘若土星落在那一度，或土星以无论什么相位照着它，会有权势、伟大，是本行省的首要人物，以最大的尊荣受同胞敬畏；但这些人会在皇帝极大的义愤中死去。

[2] Whoever has the Ascendant in the 2nd degree of Gemini, with Jupiter placed there with Saturn, especially if the Moon, placed in suitable places of the nativity, is moving toward them with full light, will be a general who leads an army of horse and foot, to whom naval command is committed. He will subjugate very many, he will see places unknown to him, so that even the insignia of power are given to him as far as distant places. He will indeed be just and religious, bestowing much on very many. Having raised children, he will die by his own death.

〔二〕凡上升点在双子第二度的人，木星与土星同在那里，尤其倘若落在本命合宜宫位的月亮带着满光行向它们，他会成为统领骑兵与步兵的将军，被托付海军统帅之职。他会降服极多的人，会看见他不认识的地方，以致权力的徽章甚至在远方授给他。他确实会公正而敬神，把许多东西赐给极多的人。养大了子女之后，他会自然而死。

[3] Whoever have the Ascendant in the 3rd degree of Gemini will be priests, or chiefs or kings of the sacred rites. Whoever have the Ascendant in the 4th degree of Gemini will be handsome with an exceptional beauty of body, men whom the beauty of their body commends to kings, so that the desires of the king always burn with love for them. Whoever have the Ascendant in the 5th degree of Gemini will be noble and lifted up by a lofty spirit of pride.

〔三〕凡上升点在双子第三度的人，会成为祭司，或神圣仪礼的首领或王。凡上升点在双子第四度的人，会以身体出众的美而俊美，身体的美把他们荐给国王，以致国王的欲望总为爱他们而燃烧。凡上升点在双子第五度的人，会高贵，被高傲的心气抬高。

[4] Whoever have the Ascendant in the 6th degree of Gemini will be divine, inspired seers. Whoever have the Ascendant in the 7th degree of Gemini will be keepers of prisons and of places of custody. Whoever have the Ascendant in the 8th degree of Gemini, if Mercury has its place in that very degree, will be musicians; if Mars, trumpeters. But these will die in war. Whoever have the Ascendant in the 9th degree of Gemini, with Mars present, will be laborers and porters, weighed down by a perpetual burden of unhappiness.

〔四〕凡上升点在双子第六度的人，会成为神圣的、有神灵附体的预言者。凡上升点在双子第七度的人，会成为监狱与羁押之所的看守。凡上升点在双子第八度的人，倘若水星就在那一度，会成为乐师；倘若火星在那里，会成为号手。但这些人会死于战争。凡上升点在双子第九度的人，有火星在场，会成为劳工与脚夫，被不幸永久的重担压着。

[5] Whoever has the Ascendant in the 10th degree of Gemini will die of a pain of the lungs. Whoever have the Ascendant in the 11th degree of Gemini will be hoplomachi. Whoever has the Ascendant in the 12th degree of Gemini, with Mars present, will die by the stab of a weapon, and women will fail in childbirth. Whoever have the Ascendant in the 13th degree of Gemini will die dropsical with a swollen belly. Whoever have the Ascendant in the 14th degree of Gemini, with Mars present, will die a wretched death, slipping from a high place.

〔五〕凡上升点在双子第十度的人，会死于肺痛。凡上升点在双子第十一度的人，会成为重装斗士。凡上升点在双子第十二度的人，有火星在场，会被兵器刺死，女人则会在分娩中死去。凡上升点在双子第十三度的人，会腹部肿胀、患水肿而死。凡上升点在双子第十四度的人，有火星在场，会从高处滑落，惨死。

[6] Whoever have the Ascendant in the 15th degree of Gemini will be bath attendants and drudges. Whoever have the Ascendant in the 16th degree of Gemini will be pantomimes, but such as a conspicuous beauty of body always insinuates into the loves of many. But they will be of a soft and delicate body. Whoever have the Ascendant in the 17th degree of Gemini, beauty and greatness of body will make them conspicuous. They will indeed be modest, and on this account friends of kings.

〔六〕凡上升点在双子第十五度的人，会成为浴室侍者与杂役。凡上升点在双子第十六度的人，会成为哑剧演员，却是那种以出众的身体之美总能潜入许多人之爱的人。但他们身体柔软娇弱。凡上升点在双子第十七度的人，身体的美与高大会使他们显眼。他们确实会谦和，因此成为国王的朋友。

[7] Whoever have the Ascendant in the 18th degree of Gemini will be trainers of athletes, always assigned to the services of the wrestling school. Whoever have the Ascendant in the 19th degree of Gemini, with Mars present, will die by the sword. But if Saturn is in that degree, they will be worn down by perpetual labors drawing water. But if the Moon, placed in scaly signs, is moving with full light toward Mars, or diminished toward Saturn, they will become elephantiac.

〔七〕凡上升点在双子第十八度的人，会成为运动员的教练，总被派在摔角学校服务。凡上升点在双子第十九度的人，有火星在场，会死于剑下。但倘若土星在那一度，他们会被永久的汲水劳役磨损。但倘若落在有鳞星座的月亮带着满光行向火星，或光减而行向土星，他们会患象皮病。

[8] Whoever have the Ascendant in the 20th degree of Gemini, with Mars present, will hold the helm of the people, and popular trials will be entrusted to them. But they will die by a violent death. Whoever has the Ascendant in the 21st degree of Gemini, if Saturn is in the same place and if the Moon is well placed, will be wealthy with abundant riches, noble, a friend of kings, the father of few children or the brother of few brothers. But he will die long-lived.

〔八〕凡上升点在双子第二十度的人，有火星在场，会掌握民众之舵，被托付民众的审判。但他们会横死。凡上升点在双子第二十一度的人，倘若土星在同一处，而月亮落得好，会因丰厚的财富而富有，高贵，是国王的朋友，是少数子女的父亲或少数兄弟的兄弟。但他会长寿而死。

[9] Whoever has the Ascendant in the 22nd degree of Gemini will be a singer to the cithara, a musician, displaying from this the greatest marks of nobility, and one whom the bond of friendship joins to kings. But he will die by a violent death. Whoever has the Ascendant in the 23rd degree of Gemini will be vigorous in valor, renowned in war, and one whom a favorable testimony of fame commends to all on this account. But he will die without children.

〔九〕凡上升点在双子第二十二度的人，会成为弹基塔拉琴的歌者、乐师，由此显出高贵的最大标记，是友谊的纽带把他与国王连在一起的人。但他会横死。凡上升点在双子第二十三度的人，会勇武强健，以战争闻名，因此名声的顺遂见证把他荐给所有人。但他会无子而死。

[10] Whoever have the Ascendant in the 24th degree of Gemini will be runners, and such as are weighed down by a perpetual burden of labor. Whoever have the Ascendant in the 25th degree of Gemini, with Mars placed there or aspecting from opposition or from square, perish slipping from a height, or will die with broken feet, or will fail torn by wild beasts.

〔十〕凡上升点在双子第二十四度的人，会成为赛跑者，是被永久的劳苦重担压着的人。凡上升点在双子第二十五度的人，火星落在那里，或从对冲或四分照着，会从高处滑落而死，或断足而死，或被野兽撕裂而亡。

[11] Whoever have the Ascendant in the 26th degree of Gemini will be priests, haruspices, prophets, but joined to kings by faithful friendship. But if Saturn is in that degree, it will make cinaedi, but such as die by the indignation of the king. Whoever have the Ascendant in the 27th degree of Gemini will be temple-keepers and guardians of temples, or men assigned to the duties of the sacred rites, or hierodules.

〔十一〕凡上升点在双子第二十六度的人，会成为祭司、脏卜师、先知，却以忠实的友谊与国王相连。但倘若土星在那一度，会造就娈宠，却是死于国王义愤的。凡上升点在双子第二十七度的人，会成为神庙司事与神庙守护者，或被派去执掌神圣仪礼职务的人，或神庙奴仆。

[12] Whoever have the Ascendant in the 28th degree of Gemini will be epileptic, out of their minds, short-lived. Whoever have the Ascendant in the 29th degree of Gemini will be litigious and contentious, men always engaged in lawsuits and disputes. But if Mars is in that very degree, or if it has aspected that place by a square or an opposite aspect, they will die without children, torn by dogs.

〔十二〕凡上升点在双子第二十八度的人，会患癫痫、失心、短命。凡上升点在双子第二十九度的人，会好讼好争，总是卷在讼案与争执里。但倘若火星就在那一度，或以四分或对冲照着那个位置，他们会无子而死，被狗撕裂。

[13] Whoever have the Ascendant in the 30th degree of Gemini, with the Moon in the same degree, will be noble and well known, but they will die while placed in their first period of life. But if the Ascendant is on the last line of Gemini, and Mars has been found in the same place, struck by a beast or by a viper, they will lose a foot or a thigh.

〔十三〕凡上升点在双子第三十度的人，月亮在同一度，会高贵而有名，但他们会在人生的第一个时期死去。但倘若上升点在双子的最后一线，而火星在同一处，他们会被野兽或蝰蛇所伤，失去一只脚或一条大腿。
