The Moon from the Sun to Venus.

月亮从太阳到金星

[1] If the Moon, flowing away from the Sun, is moving toward Venus, and the nativity is by day, it will make men barren, unable to beget offspring, and joined only with difficulty in conjugal affection; for they marry wives who are either barren, or old women, or slave-women, and these too none the less barren, or they pursue the shameful and wretched intercourse of boys, for which reason the offspring of children is denied them forever. They will indeed be bound by the perverse vices of love or given over to impure or shameful desires, always occupied in servile pursuits and servile activities, acquiring excessive means and seeking for themselves by their own efforts the greatest supports of life, and men who attain increases of good fortune with the passing of time.

〔一〕倘若月亮从太阳流离而行向金星，本命盘又是白天的，就会使人不育，不能生育子嗣，夫妻情分难以相合；因为他们娶的妻子或者不育，或者是老妇，或者是女奴，而这些女奴也照样不育；或者他们追逐与少年可耻而可悲的交合，因此子女的后嗣永远与他们无缘。他们当然会被反常的情爱之恶束缚，或沉溺于不洁或可耻的欲望，总忙于奴仆的营生与奴仆的劳作，却积攒过多的资财，凭自己的努力为自己谋得生计的极大依靠，并随着时间的推移得到好运的增长。

[2] But if by night, flowing away from the Sun, it is moving toward Venus, it decrees many wives, makes men sociable, pleasing, and well received, and decrees great activities and great means; they will be noble, shining with the splendor of glory. It also makes men commanding, powerful, rich, on whom the greatest good fortune is conferred, especially if Saturn has struck none of them with a square or opposite aspect. But this good fortune and these honors are decreed only if this conjunction is in the necessary places of the nativity.

[3] If the Moon, flowing away from the Sun, is moving toward Mercury, and the nativity is by day, it makes men endangered in their life and actions, of evil character, always perverse in sacrilegious error and denying the divinity; and these men also deny the things entrusted to them.

〔三〕倘若月亮从太阳流离而行向水星，本命盘又是白天的，就会使人在生活与作为上多险，品行恶劣，总在亵渎神明的谬误中颠倒是非、否认神明；而且这些人还抵赖托付给他们的东西。

[4] But if by night the Moon, flowing away from the Sun, is moving toward Mercury, it makes public notaries, who seek the supports of life from letters; yet from this pursuit they will be honored in their own cities and preferred, by the judgment of all, to all men of the same business. Frequently, moreover, if Jupiter has aspected them with a trine aspect, they take on the care and guardianship of a city. They will also be inventors of difficult writings or of some kind of wisdom, or devoted to heavenly rites and entrusted with the secrets of the divinity, or they cling to the practice of hidden or forbidden writings; others find hidden things, to others an inheritance is conferred, provided that Mars and Saturn alike are foreign to them.

[5] If the Moon, flowing away from the Sun, is moving toward Saturn, and the nativity is by day, it squanders the patrimony, divides the parents, and decrees for the natives the troubles of wretched bereavement; but with the passing of time it decrees for them the greatest means of substance, grants increases of great good fortune, and bestows the ownership of many estates.

〔五〕倘若月亮从太阳流离而行向土星，本命盘又是白天的，就会散失祖产，使父母分离，给本命之人判定可悲丧亲的困扰；但随着时间的推移，它判定给他们极大的资财，赐予大好运的增长，并赐予许多田产的所有权。

[6] But if by night the Moon, flowing away from the Sun, is moving toward Saturn, it decrees bereavements, diminishes patrimonies, and decrees the troubles of evil wanderings abroad; it also causes grave defects and grave illnesses, or causes them to be entangled in mischances of grave and violent dangers.

〔六〕但倘若在夜间，月亮从太阳流离而行向土星，就判定丧亲，减损祖产，判定恶劣的旅居异乡之困扰；它还造成严重的缺损与严重的疾病，或使人缠于严重而猛烈的危险遭遇。

The Moon from the Sun to Jupiter.

[7] If the Moon, flowing away from the Sun, is moving toward Jupiter, and the nativity is by day, it grants the insignia of fortune and good fortune from the parents; some will hold regions or the greatest cities, and they will be adorned beyond measure with the benefit of good fortune.

〔七〕倘若月亮从太阳流离而行向木星，本命盘又是白天的，就从父母那里赐予运势与好运的徽章；有些人会据有地区或极大的城市，他们会被好运的恩惠装点得无以复加。

[8] But if by night, flowing away from the Sun, it is moving toward Jupiter, it will make men who acquire a substance of means for themselves by their own efforts and who are given to continual journeys abroad; but it deceives them in early youth, and when they have reached an advanced age, it decrees glories, good commendations, and suitable means of substance.

〔八〕但倘若在夜间，它从太阳流离而行向木星，就会使人凭自己的努力为自己积攒资财，并总献身于旅居异乡；但它在他们少年初期欺骗他们，而当他们到了年岁已高之时，就判定荣耀、良好的称许，以及合宜的资财。

The Moon from the Sun to Mars.

[9] If the Moon, flowing away from the Sun, is moving toward Mars, and the nativity is by day, it lays low the native's parents by a swift death, so that he is weighed down by the burden of bereavement. And from this conjunction the parents frequently die a violent death; and for those who are born it decrees defective blindness of the eyes, or makes them disabled by the amputation of some part of the body, or destroys them in early life, or, if it has done none of these things, makes them die a violent death.

〔九〕倘若月亮从太阳流离而行向火星，本命盘又是白天的，就以迅速的死亡击倒本命之人的父母，以致他被丧亲的重担压下。父母常因这次会合而横死；对出生的人自己，它判定眼睛有缺损的失明，或使他们被截去身体的某一部分而残疾，或在早年毁掉他们，或者，倘若这些都没有，就使他们横死。

[10] But if by night the Moon, flowing away from the Sun, is moving toward Mars, it makes men violent, cruel, always committing dangerous crimes, or makes them entangled in defects and illnesses. It decrees, however, public activities and military service, or makes athletes, glorious and at the same time [lacuna], especially if Mars and the Moon are found in the necessary places of the nativity. But if this conjunction is in cast-down places, without the testimony of a benefic star, it diminishes the patrimony, causes them to be bereft of their parents, humbles their life, decrees defects and illnesses, or at any rate makes them die a violent death. It causes their activities to be either with fire or with iron or with metal, or at any rate such that they are worn down by the continual succession of everlasting labor.

The Moon from Venus to Mercury.

[1] If the Moon, flowing away from Venus, is moving toward Mercury, and if it is waxing or full of light, it makes defenders or stewards of noble women, and men who receive some rank of promotion through the support of women; they will, however, be dyers or pearl-merchants or discoverers of spices, frequently musicians and physicians, or leaders and trainers of athletes, but lustful and carried away by continual desires of love, yet pleasing and lovable in venereal intercourse.

〔一〕倘若月亮从金星流离而行向水星，而它盈长或光满，就会造就高贵妇女的辩护人或管家，以及借妇女的扶持获得某种晋升品级的人；然而他们会做染工、或珍珠商、或香料的发现者，常做乐师与医师，或竞技者的领队与教练，但好色，被不断的情欲带着走，却在男女交合中讨人喜欢、惹人爱。

[2] But if, flowing away from Venus, diminished in light, it is moving toward Mercury, it decrees defects, impurities, and illnesses, and it will cause various and manifold activities: it will make orators or turners or modellers or sculptors, or it makes dealers in pigments or discoverers of colors or sellers of drugs or cook-shop keepers, and men who bear the care and concern of other people's pleasures and delights.

〔二〕但倘若它从金星流离，光减而行向水星，就判定缺损、不洁与疾病，并会造成种种多样的作为：它会造就演说家、或车工、或塑像匠、或雕刻匠，或造就颜料商、或颜色的发现者、或药贩、或小食店主，以及承担别人的享乐与欢愉之照料与操心的人。

The Moon from Venus to Saturn.

[3] If the Moon, flowing away from Venus, is moving toward Saturn, if it is waxing or full of light and the nativity is by night, it will give a wife of advanced age, or brings a public woman into the partnership of the marriage bed, or the native obtains a wife from among his kinsmen by marriage, so that, through the support of the marriage, he nevertheless attains the foremost place of honor, increases of dignity, and the insignia of promotion.

〔三〕倘若月亮从金星流离而行向土星，倘若它盈长或光满，本命盘又是夜间的，就会给予年事已高的妻子，或把一个公开的女人带进婚床的伴侣关系，或者本命之人从姻亲中娶得妻子，以致他凭婚姻的扶持仍得到荣誉的首位、尊位的增长与晋升的徽章。

[4] But if the Moon, flowing away from Venus, diminished, in a day nativity, is moving toward Saturn, it makes men notorious for passive lusts and given over to vicious pleasures, who on account of lustful acts are assailed by frequent infamy; they will indeed be base, wandering, and wretched in servile abasement, hirers-out of harlots or else pimps. But if this is a woman's nativity, she will be a public harlot, one who, set in a public place, seeks the support of life with her body at the loss of her modesty.

〔四〕但倘若从金星流离、光减的月亮在白天的本命盘里行向土星，就会使人以被动的情欲闻名，沉溺于邪恶的享乐，因情欲之事屡遭恶名攻击；他们当然会卑贱、漂泊，在奴仆般的低下中困苦，做出租娼妓的人或者做皮条客。但倘若这是女人的本命盘，她会做公开的娼妓，被安置在公共场所，以失去廉耻为代价，用身体谋求生计的依靠。

[5] But if, flowing away from Venus in a night nativity, diminished in light, it is moving toward Saturn, it will make men barren, or eunuchs, or chief eunuch-priests of the Great Mother, or hermaphrodites, or at any rate such as are compelled by the ardor of a wretched lust to submit to women's treatment; they will indeed be short-lived or die a violent death.

〔五〕但倘若在夜间的本命盘里，它从金星流离，光减而行向土星，就会使人不育，或成为阉人，或成为大母神的阉人祭司长，或成为两性人，或者无论如何是那种被可悲情欲的炽烈所迫、像女人那样受人摆布的人；他们当然会短命或横死。

[6] But if, flowing away from Venus, diminished in light, it is moving by day toward Saturn, it will make men defective and disabled, whom a malignant humor always troubles; it will, however, give activities connected with water, but such as wear them out with wretched and continual toil. For they are either compelled to draw water from deep wells in daily labor, or ordered continually to clean ditches and sewers, or they will be gardeners, but wretched ones, or sailors or water-carriers or fishermen or divers.

〔六〕但倘若它从金星流离，光减，在白天行向土星，就会使人有缺损而残疾，总被恶性体液困扰；然而它会给予与水有关的作为，却是以可悲而不断的劳苦使他们疲惫的那种。因为他们或被迫在每日的劳作中从深井里打水，或被命令不断清理沟渠与下水道，或做园丁，却是可怜的园丁，或做水手、或运水人、或渔夫、或潜水者。

[7] But the quality of the signs frequently alters these activities; for it will make ox-herds, cattlemen, grooms of mares, shepherds, and men who are ordered to clean out or sweep the stalls of beasts of burden; very often too it makes guardians of tombs, or else it makes preparers of corpses, who undertake the care of burying men by the judgment and consent of all. But it decrees these things according to the variety of the places or signs, a variety of which we have spoken most fully in other effects as well.

The Moon from Venus to Jupiter.

[8] If the Moon, flowing away from Venus, is moving toward Jupiter, it will make men great, powerful, and noble, set over cities, and some it causes to be raised up through the support of women; they will indeed be pleasing and charming, but they will be lovers of women and men who attain everything they desire by grace of their charm.

〔八〕倘若月亮从金星流离而行向木星，就会使人伟大、有权势、高贵，被置于城市之上，有些人它使之借妇女的扶持而得擢升；他们当然会讨人喜欢、有魅力，但会是好色恋女之人，凭自己魅力的恩宠得到想要的一切。

[9] But if, flowing away from Venus, diminished in light, it is moving toward Jupiter, it will give the support of means from women, and renders men to whom the favor of good fortune and glory is conferred by their parents from their earliest years; to some it will give inheritances, others it compels to find the greatest gains, or it decrees honored offices in temples.

[10] If the Moon, flowing away from Venus, is moving toward Mars in a day nativity, and the Moon is waxing or full of light, it decrees the ruin of wretched calamity through the prompting of some love, and on this account imposes a grave peril of dangers, so that they come both to the custody of prison and to the peril of condemnation, and on this account perish by a violent death. Some it will cause to be despoiled, others to be subjugated; others it causes to be consigned to the wretched burden of captivity, according, of course, to the power of the places and signs.

〔十〕倘若在白天的本命盘里，月亮从金星流离而行向火星，而月亮盈长或光满，就会因某段恋情的驱使而判定可悲灾祸的毁灭，并因此加上严重的危险，以致他们既入狱羁押、又陷入判罪之险，并因此横死。有些人它使之被剥夺财物，另一些人使之被征服；还有一些人使之被交付给被俘的可悲重担，当然是依宫位与星座的力量。

[11] But if the Moon, flowing away from Venus, is moving by night toward Mars and is waxing or full of light, it makes men skilled in crafts, always violent and cunning, and entangled in defects and illnesses. But if the Moon, flowing away from Venus, is moving toward Mars in a night nativity, it will make terrible and powerful men, who subjugate the greatest regions by their valor and power, especially if either Mars or the Moon is in the Ascendant or in the fifth sign from the Ascendant. If this conjunction is in the other places, it makes either craftsmen or athletes or soldiers, but such as are entangled in continual mischances of danger.

〔十一〕但倘若月亮从金星流离，在夜间行向火星，而它盈长或光满，就会使人精于手艺，总是凶暴而狡黠，缠于缺损与疾病。但倘若月亮从金星流离，在夜间的本命盘里行向火星，就会造就可怕而有权势的人，以自己的勇武与权力征服极大的地区，尤其是倘若火星或月亮落在上升点，或落在从上升点起的第五个星座。倘若这次会合在其余宫位，就或造就工匠、或竞技者、或军人，但都缠于不断的危险遭遇。

[12] But if, flowing away from Venus, diminished in light, in a day nativity, it is moving toward Mars, it squanders the patrimony by wretched depredation, makes the natives themselves wretched in abject humility, and decrees defects and illnesses; some it makes exiles, others it puts to flight, on others it imposes the burden of slavery, others it destroys in the first course of life. Very often it makes them die a violent death on account of women or through the allurements of some love; for on this account it decrees plots, dangers, and condemnations.

〔十二〕但倘若在白天的本命盘里，它从金星流离，光减而行向火星，就以可悲的劫掠散尽祖产，使本命之人自己困苦于卑下低贱，并判定缺损与疾病；有些人它使之流放，另一些人使之逃亡，对另一些人加上奴役的重担，还有一些人在人生的最初阶段就毁掉。它常因妇女或某段恋情的诱惑使人横死；因为它为此判定阴谋、危险与判罪。

[13] If the Moon, flowing away from Venus, is moving toward the Sun, it divides the parents by bitter discord or imposes on the natives the burden of wretched bereavement, decrees straits of patrimony and of life, and makes them impure and bound by the wretched vices of love; but when they have passed the first season of youth, with the passing of time, increases of patrimony and whatever they have desired [lacuna]
