The Moon from Jupiter to Mars.

月亮从木星到火星

[1] If the Moon, flowing away from Jupiter, is moving toward Mars, and the nativity is by night, and the waxing Moon is joined in this way to the association of Mars, it makes men great and powerful, holding the greatest cities or regions by their own strength, but it decrees the power of this might with anxieties and with dangers. These men will not, however, be without defect or illness, but they turn out such as easily endure all things, especially if Mars is found in the principal places of the nativity; but if, with Mars placed in cast-down places, the Moon is moving toward it in this way, it decrees arts of fire, but makes the natives themselves humble and abject, and frequently decrees illnesses, defects, and the perils of an evil death.

〔一〕倘若月亮从木星流离而行向火星，本命盘又是夜间的，盈长的月亮这样与火星结伴相结，就会使人伟大而有权势，凭自己的力量据有极大的城市或地区，但它判定这种威势之权总伴着忧虑与危险。然而这些人不会没有缺损或疾病，只是他们生成能轻易忍受一切的样子，尤其是倘若火星被发现在本命的主要宫位；但倘若火星落在低陷的宫位，月亮这样行向它，就判定用火的技艺，却使本命之人自己卑微低贱，并屡屡判定疾病、缺损与恶死之险。

[2] But if by day the Moon, waxing, flows away from Jupiter and associates itself with the star of Mars, it will make men exposed at birth, slaves, oppressed by the wretched burden of begging, entangled in defects and illnesses, men whose slavery is like captivity and who lose their life by a violent death.

〔二〕但倘若在白天，盈长的月亮从木星流离，与火星之星结伴，就会使人出生即被遗弃，做奴隶，被可悲的乞讨重担压着，缠于缺损与疾病，他们的奴役形同被俘，并以横死丧失性命。

[3] But if in a night nativity the Moon, waning and flowing away from Jupiter, is moving toward Mars, it will make men foremost and famous; and if Mars is found in the principal places of the nativity, and the Moon, diminished in light, in a night nativity, flowing away from Jupiter, is moving toward Mars, it will make judges, generals, and men to whom the highest command of power is entrusted. But if Mars is found in the cast-down places of the nativity and the Moon is moving toward it in the way we have said, it will make soldiers, athletes, or men who seek the support of life from fire and iron, or it makes physicians and surgeons.

〔三〕但倘若在夜间的本命盘里，亏缺的月亮从木星流离而行向火星，就会使人居于首列而出名；倘若火星被发现在本命的主要宫位，而光减的月亮在夜间的本命盘里从木星流离而行向火星，就会造就法官、将领，以及被托付以最高统御之权的人。但倘若火星被发现在本命的低陷宫位，月亮又照我们所说的方式行向它，就会造就军人、竞技者，或从火与铁中谋求生计的人，或者造就医师与外科医生。

[4] But if by day the Moon, waning and flowing away from Jupiter, is moving toward Mars, it squanders the father's and the mother's patrimony, destroys the parents in the native's early years, and imposes the burden of extreme beggary; on others it inflicts the defect of bitter pain; at times it makes slaves, at times captives, and very often men who die a violent death, especially if, with the Moon running so, Mars is found in the angles of the nativity, or in their succedents or cadent places; for then the things we have mentioned [probably: will all be stronger] [lacuna] when the Moon has joined itself in this association to Mars placed in these places.

The Moon from Jupiter to the Sun.

[5] If the Moon, flowing away from Jupiter, is moving toward the Sun, it squanders the father's and the mother's patrimony by various depredations and estranges the natives from their parents or sets them in far-off wandering abroad; some it makes exiles, others fugitives, on others it imposes the slavery of a dishonorable captivity, especially if the Sun or the Moon is found in a house of Saturn or of Mars.

〔五〕倘若月亮从木星流离而行向太阳，就以种种劫掠散失父亲与母亲的祖产，使本命之人与父母疏远，或把他们安置在远方漂泊异乡；有些人它使之流放，另一些人使之逃亡，对另一些人则加上不光彩的被俘为奴，尤其是倘若太阳或月亮被发现在土星或火星的庙里。

The Moon from Jupiter to Venus.

[6] If the Moon, flowing away from Jupiter, is moving toward Venus, and if it is waxing or full of light, it will make the parents resplendent with the noble authority of power and men who have attained the greatest might; but it compels the one who is born to be estranged from his own people and soon makes him bereft of his parents; yet none the less it decrees power, glory, and nobility for him too; but it grants all these things with the advance of age, and decrees the greatest increase of good fortune from wives. It also makes the natives themselves charming, pleasing, and witty, men for whom the greatest power is procured from their grace or charm.

〔六〕倘若月亮从木星流离而行向金星，倘若它盈长或光满，就会使父母以高贵的权力威望光彩照人，成为得到极大权势的人；但它迫使出生的这人与自己的家人疏远，并很快使他失去父母；然而尽管如此，它也判定给他权势、荣耀与高贵；只是这一切要随年岁的推进才赐予，并判定从妻子那里得到好运的极大增长。它还使本命之人自己秀美、讨人喜欢、风趣，凭自己的风度或魅力谋得极大的权力。

[7] But if, flowing away from Jupiter, it is moving toward Venus diminished in light and is in the principal or in the necessary places of the nativity, it decrees boundless increases of good fortune, and he will be exceedingly fortunate in whose nativity it is found so; for it decrees honors, powers, the fasces, the bordered toga, and the insignia of magnificent power, and to these men this merit of dignity is conferred by their parents; while they are still at the first step of life it decrees the ornaments of the most powerful dignity, and causes increases of riches and good fortune to be conferred by a wife and by women.

〔七〕但倘若它从木星流离，光减而行向金星，又落在本命的主要宫位或必要宫位，就判定好运无限的增长，凡本命盘里它这样落位的人都会极其幸运；因为它判定荣誉、权力、束棒、紫边袍与宏伟权力的徽章，而这份尊位的功劳是由父母授予这些人的；他们还在人生的第一级台阶上，它就判定最有权势之尊位的饰物，并使财富与好运的增长由妻子和妇女授予。

The Moon from Jupiter to Mercury.

[8] If the Moon, flowing away from Jupiter, is moving toward Mercury full of light, it makes critics, that is, men of good judgment, good, kindly, glorious; for they will be either collectors of the treasury's dues, or set over religious rites, or interpreters of the law, and on these grounds the greatest good fortune and the greatest riches are conferred on them, so that this good fortune endures through every span of life.

〔八〕倘若月亮从木星流离，光满而行向水星，就会造就评判者，即判断力好的人，善良、仁厚、有荣耀；因为他们或做国库税赋的征收者，或主管宗教祭仪，或做法律的解释者，凭这些机缘，极大的好运与极大的财富授予他们，以致这份好运在人生的每一段都持续不衰。

[9] But if, diminished in light and flowing away from Jupiter, it is moving toward Mercury, it will make men seeking the substance or support of life from letters or from some discipline, or from granaries and from trade; some obtain certain inheritances, others will find [lacuna], others deny the things entrusted to them, so as to procure for themselves the support of a patrimony from this treachery.

〔九〕但倘若光减而从木星流离，行向水星，就会使人从文字、或某种学问、或从粮仓与贸易中谋求生计的实质或依靠；有些人获得某些遗产，另一些人会找到〔此处原文有缺〕，还有一些人抵赖托付给他们的东西，以便凭这种背信为自己谋得祖产的依靠。

The Moon from Jupiter to Saturn.

[10] If the Moon, flowing away from Jupiter, is moving toward Saturn and is waxing or full of light, it will cause them to be adopted by strangers, or makes them fathers of another's offspring, or guardians or stewards of minors; others are compelled, after a long span of time, to find children who had been exposed or taken away. They will always be engaged in watery and moist activities, or wandering in continual journeys abroad, or sailing for the sake of foreign merchandise, so that from this way of life the supports of living are sought for them.

〔十〕倘若月亮从木星流离而行向土星，而它盈长或光满，就会使人被外人收养，或使他们做别人子女的父亲，或做未成年人的监护人或保佐人；另一些人则被迫在漫长的岁月之后，找回曾被遗弃或被带走的子女。他们总忙于与水和湿有关的营生，或在不断的旅居异乡中漂泊，或为了外邦的货物而航海，以致从这种生活方式中为他们谋得生计的依靠。

[11] But if, diminished in light and flowing away from Jupiter, it is moving toward Saturn, it either causes them to be exposed, or imposes the burden of slavery, or decrees the misfortune of wretched captivity, or causes other defects or illnesses, so that their whole life, consumed by the grievous bitterness of pain, soon meets the end of a wretched death. But if the nativity is by night and the Moon, diminished in light and flowing away from Jupiter, is moving toward Saturn, it makes them die a violent death in some manner or other.

〔十一〕但倘若光减而从木星流离，行向土星，它就或使人被遗弃，或加上奴役的重担，或判定可悲的被俘之不幸，或造成别的缺损或疾病，以致他们的整个一生被剧痛的苦楚耗尽，不久便遭遇可悲之死的结局。但倘若本命盘是夜间的，而光减的月亮从木星流离而行向土星，就使他们以某种方式横死。

The Moon from Mars to the Sun.

月亮从火星到太阳

[1] If the Moon, flowing away from Mars, is moving toward the Sun, it decrees the greatest defects and illnesses, assigns a short time of life, makes them die a violent death, and in general decrees the greatest troubles of misfortune. Some, indeed, with the Moon so placed, it causes to perish in strange and foreign lands.

〔一〕倘若月亮从火星流离而行向太阳，就判定极大的缺损与疾病，分配短暂的寿命，使人横死，总之判定不幸的极大困扰。有些人，月亮这样落位时，它使之死在陌生的异乡之地。

The Moon from Mars to Venus.

[2] If the Moon, flowing away from Mars, is moving toward Venus and is waxing or full of light, it makes adulterers, lustful men, lovers always given over to venereal desires, entangled in frequent mischances of danger; they will practise the arts either of pigments and spices or of stones and pearls, and from this association of the Moon they frequently become dyers; they will also handle the trade of some metal, and according to the quality of the signs or places they become innkeepers, who prepare what is needed for food and drink in disreputable public trade.

〔二〕倘若月亮从火星流离而行向金星，又盈长或光满，就会造就奸夫、好色之人、总沉溺于情欲的恋人，缠于屡屡发生的危险；他们会从事颜料与香料、或宝石与珍珠的技艺，因月亮的这种结伴，他们常做染工；他们还会经营某种金属的买卖，依星座或宫位的性质，他们会做客店老板，在不体面的公共买卖中备办饮食所需之物。

[3] But if, flowing away from Mars and diminished in light, it is moving toward Venus in this way, it will make men effective, blessed, and fortunate, and rich as well; these men will indeed solicit women, and carry off wealthy ones, but wives under another's authority, through whom the greatest insignia of good fortune will be procured for them; for through these women they are honored with the greatest ornament of dignity, especially if the nativity is by night. But if the nativity is by day, it will make men of toil, attached to various labors, who on account of venereal matters are assailed by frequent infamy and whom the desires of promiscuous lust always solicit.

〔三〕但倘若它从火星流离而光减，这样行向金星，就会使人能干、有福、幸运，而且富有；这些人当然会追求妇女，并娶得富有的妇女，但却是处在别人权下的妻子，凭这些妇女，他们得到好运的极大徽章；因为通过这些妇女，他们以尊位的极大饰物获得荣耀，尤其是倘若本命盘是夜间的。但倘若本命盘是白天的，就会使人劳苦，依附于种种劳作，因情欲之事屡遭恶名攻击，并总被滥交情欲的念头撩动。

The Moon from Mars to Mercury.

[4] If the Moon, flowing away from Mars, is moving toward Mercury full of light in a night nativity, it will make soldiers and athletes, glorious at times, and causes others to be set over public and glorious offices; but they will be malignant, malicious, and men whose desire for every crime grows day by day; for they will be either executioners or headsmen, or men to whom public authority commits the licence of informing. But if by day the Moon joins itself in this association and is full of light, it decrees the troubles of wretched condemnation, so that by a judge's sentence they are compelled to be deported, and as a result of this condemnation they die a violent death.

〔四〕倘若在夜间的本命盘里，月亮从火星流离，光满而行向水星，就会造就军人与竞技者，有时有荣耀，并使另一些人主管公共而荣耀的职务；但他们会阴毒、恶意，对一切罪行的欲望一天天增长；因为他们会做刽子手或行刑的斩首者，或公共权力授予告发之权的人。但倘若在白天，月亮以这种结伴相结而光满，就判定可悲判罪的困扰，以致他们被法官的判决强制流放，并因这次判罪而横死。

[5] But if, diminished in light, in a day nativity, flowing away from Mars, it is moving toward Mercury, it decrees immense desires for countless things [text uncertain]; for it makes highway robbers and brigands, but such as, caught in this crime, are punished by the severe chastisement of the judge; others are crushed by the collapse of falling roofs, others madness turns from the course of a right life. But if the nativity is by night, it will make overseers of prisons and keepers of the guards, men who procure for themselves a substance of patrimony from this office; they will indeed be lovers of ships and of athletes, and men who attend upon four-footed animals with continual services. They will indeed have defects and are worn down by continual troubles of danger.

〔五〕但倘若在白天的本命盘里，光减的月亮从火星流离而行向水星，就判定对无数事物的无边欲望〔原文疑有讹误〕；因为它造就拦路抢劫者与盗匪，但这些人在这罪行中被捉，受法官严厉的惩处；另一些人被倒塌的屋顶压垮，还有一些人被疯狂扭离正当的人生道路。但倘若本命盘是夜间的，就会造就监狱的主管与看守的看管人，凭这职务为自己谋得祖产的实质；他们当然会喜爱船只与竞技者，以不断的服侍照料四足牲畜。他们当然会有缺损，被不断的危险困扰消磨。

The Moon from Mars to Saturn.

[6] If the Moon, flowing away from Mars, full or waxing, is moving toward Saturn, it makes men slow and sluggish, who can make headway in no undertakings and who attain none of the things they desire. The mother it either renders a widow or entangled in defects or illnesses, and destroys this same mother by the end of an evil death; it squanders the natives' patrimony by continual depredations and causes them to be entangled in various defects.

〔六〕倘若月亮从火星流离，光满或盈长而行向土星，就会使人迟缓懒散，在任何事业上都无法进展，想要的东西一样也得不到。母亲它或使之守寡，或使之缠于缺损疾病，并以恶死的结局毁掉这位母亲；它以不断的劫掠散失本命之人的祖产，使他们缠于种种缺损。

[7] But if, waning in light and flowing away from Mars, it is moving toward Saturn, it decrees famines, sicknesses, and illnesses; it makes men lunatic, afflicted with hemorrhoids, lame, paralytic, hunchbacked, short-lived, or, if none of these, it makes them die a violent death. The mothers or fathers of some, according to the quality of the signs, it either destroys beforehand, oppressed by defects, or makes them die a violent death.

〔七〕但倘若光亏而从火星流离，行向土星，就判定饥荒、病患与疾病；它使人患月狂病、痔疮、跛足、瘫痪、驼背、短命，或者，倘若这些都没有，就使他们横死。有些人的母亲或父亲，依星座的性质，它或者先被缺损压倒而早早毁掉，或者使之横死。

The Moon from Mars to Jupiter.

[8] If the Moon, flowing away from Mars, full or waxing in light, is moving toward Jupiter in favorable places of the nativity, it makes generals leading an army, powerful, commanding, men terrible in every respect, who hold provinces and cities by the might of their power. They will indeed be rich, wealthy, moneyed, men who attain all that they wish by the easiest means, and who are victors in the clash of every contest.

〔八〕倘若月亮从火星流离，光满或盈长，在本命的吉利宫位行向木星，就会造就率军的将领，有权势、善号令，在各方面都令人生畏，凭自己的权势之力据有行省与城市。他们当然会富裕、富有、多金，用最容易的办法得到想要的一切，在每一场争斗的交锋中都是胜者。

[9] But if it is diminished in light and, flowing away from Mars in this way, is moving toward Jupiter, it will make men destined for certain public contests, but such as are always adorned by the proclamation of their goodness; or it makes glorious soldiers and decrees for them continual increases of good fortune, and widely advances these same men by frequent promotions in honors [text uncertain], and makes them glorious in various ways; yet it inflicts hidden defects and will cause them to be entangled in frequent illnesses.
