XIX. Chapter: On Partnership.

第十九章　论合伙。

[1] If you want to enter into partnership with someone in a work, or in property, or in anything that requires a partnership with a man, let it be while the Moon is in the signs in which I have said marriage is suitable, and the Moon is clean and clear of the misfortunes I have mentioned.

[1] 若你想与人合伙做事、合伙出资，或做任何需要与人合伙的事，要在月亮位于我说过宜于婚嫁的那些星座、而且没有我讲过的那些灾损时进行。

[2] Then look: if the Ascendant and the Moon are in Aries, partnership is not suitable, for it does not last, and estrangement and separation enter between them quickly.

[2] 然后看：若上升与月亮在白羊，不宜合伙，因为不能长久，两人很快就会疏远分离。

[3] If the Ascendant and the Moon are in Taurus, one should not enter into partnership with a man of great consequence; and if it is with low people too, discord enters between them, and there is no good in the outcome of that matter.

[3] 若上升与月亮在金牛，不宜与身份显赫的人合伙；与卑下的人合伙也会起争执，这件事的结局没有好处。

[4] If the Ascendant and the Moon are in Gemini, partnership is suitable: they will profit by it, and there will be agreement between them and the keeping of trust.

[4] 若上升与月亮在双子，宜于合伙：两人都会得益，彼此和睦，守信不渝。

[5] If the Ascendant and the Moon are in Cancer, treachery and distress enter into it, and each of them speaks ill of the other behind his back.

[5] 若上升与月亮在巨蟹，其中会有背信与苦恼，彼此在背后说对方坏话。

[6] If they are in Leo, there will be benefit and good report between them.

[6] 若在狮子，彼此有益，名声也好。

[7] If they are in Virgo, there will be sound benefit in it: men of understanding praise them, they enjoy the love of the people, they gain much profit in trade, and increase and joy come to them from it.

[7] 若在处女，其中会有实在的好处：明理的人称赞他们，他们受人喜爱，在买卖中获利甚多，由此增益而欢喜。

[8] If they are in Libra, there is no good in that partnership.

[8] 若在天秤，这次合伙没有好处。

[9] If they are in Scorpio, dispute and discord come upon them, and each harbours in himself deceit and backbiting against the other.

[9] 若在天蝎，两人会有纠纷争执，各自心里对对方藏着欺骗与诽谤。

[10] If they are in Sagittarius, it is good, except that each of them will be proud toward the other and exalt himself over him.

[10] 若在射手，是好的，只是两人都会对对方傲慢，自以为高人一等。

[11] If they are in Capricorn, gladness and joy come to them.

[11] 若在摩羯，两人会有欢喜快乐。

[12] If they are in Aquarius, harm and damage come to them.

[12] 若在水瓶，两人会遭受灾损。

[13] If they are in Pisces, it is excellent, exalted, and good.

[13] 若在双鱼，就极好、高妙、吉利。

[14] The Ascendant and the Moon indicate these qualities that I have mentioned only when the benefics and the malefics are not with them and do not regard the Ascendant and the Moon.

[14] 上升与月亮只有在吉星凶星不与它们同在、也不照见上升与月亮时，才指示我所说的这些情形。

[15] If Saturn regards the Ascendant or the Moon, or is with them, they will not agree on any counsel, the affection between them will cool, they will neglect the custom between them, and there will be clamour and discord between them, and hardship, separation, reversal, and slowness in the work will come upon them.

[15] 若土星照见上升或月亮，或与它们同在，两人在任何商议上都不能一致，彼此的情分会冷却，会荒废两人之间的常规，彼此喧闹争执，事业上也会有艰难、分离、反复与迟缓。

[16] If Mars regards the Ascendant or the Moon from a strong place, or is with them, there will enter between them the like of what I have described: dispute, fighting, and discord.

[16] 若火星从有力的位置照见上升或月亮，或与它们同在，两人之间就会有我说过的那些事：纠纷、争斗与争执。

[17] If Jupiter regards the Ascendant or the Moon from trine, or is with them, benefit, good report, and favour will come to them from their partnership; the one of meaner condition will suffer some loss in that partnership, while the one with the larger share and the greater consequence will win two-thirds of that benefit in the end, for people of fortune and men of consequence have more right to preference than others.

[17] 若木星从三分照见上升或月亮，或与它们同在，两人会从合伙中得到好处、好名声与恩宠；境况较差的一方在这次合伙中会有些亏损，份额较大、身份较高的一方最终会赢得这份好处的三分之二，因为有福之人与显贵之人比别人更该优先。

[18] At all times, if the benefics regard the Ascendant or the Moon from trine, or the benefics are with the Ascendant or with the Moon, that partnership will be good and profitable.

[18] 无论何时，若吉星从三分照见上升或月亮，或吉星与上升或月亮同在，这次合伙就会好而有利。

[19] If they regard from square, from opposition, or from sextile, it is good, but the benefit and good are less than when they regard from trine.

[19] 若从四分、对冲或六分照见，也是好的，但好处比从三分照见时少。
