X. Chapter: On Buying Land.

第十章　论买地。

[1] If you want to buy land, look at the condition of that land from the house of the fathers; from the house of authority, which is the tenth, at the trees on that land and its farm buildings; from the seventh at the grass, herbage, or plants on that land, and at its livestock and stores; and from the Ascendant at the tilling of that land, its dwelling, and those who work it.

[1] 若你想买地，从父母宫看这块地的状况；从权位宫即第十宫看地上的树木与农舍；从第七宫看地上的草、牧草或植物，以及牲畜与仓储；从上升看这块地的耕作、住所与劳作的人。

[2] If the house of the fathers is one of the watery signs, it signifies that the land is near a valley or on the sea or in a place with much water, by a river, the sea, or a lake; and if it is a bicorporeal sign, it signifies that the land is not of one kind but is mixed or double, made up of mountain and plain.

[2] 若父母宫是水象星座，表示这块地靠近河谷、海边或多水之处，傍河、傍海或傍湖；若是双体星座，表示这块地不是一个样子，而是混杂的、双重的，由山地与平地合成。

The rising time of the Ascendant indicates the distances: it shows as many miles or stades as it has degrees.

上升星座的上升时间指示距离：它有多少度，就指多少里程或斯塔德。

[3] Look at the rest of the angles in the way I described to you concerning the power of the malefics and the benefics: whichever of them is found unafflicted or afflicted shows the state of that part.
