第八章　（论租赁）

[1] If you want to rent something, or to give it out for a fixed rent (ṭasq) — cultivated land, trees, vines, houses, or something of this kind — the Ascendant signifies the condition of the one who rents these things or takes them for a fixed rent, the seventh sign signifies the owner of these things, the tenth sign signifies the rent and the payment, and the house of the fathers signifies the outcome of the work.

[1] 若你想租赁什么，或以定租（塔斯克）出租——已开垦的田地、树木、葡萄园、房屋之类——上升指承租或以定租领取这些东西的人的状况，第七宫指这些东西的主人，第十宫指租金与报酬，父母宫指此事的结局。

[2] If you find a malefic in the Ascendant, the one who wants to rent these things or take them for a fixed rent will go back on it and take none of them.

[2] 若见上升有凶星，想承租或以定租领取这些东西的人会反悔，什么也不租。

[3] And if he does rent them or enter into any of them, he enters only to deceive, wanting to bring wickedness and depravity into it.

[3] 即使他租了或接手了其中某样，也只是为了欺诈，想在其中做坏事、行不义。

[4] If you find a malefic in the seventh place, or regarding the seventh place, the owner of these things will go back on it and will give none of them out for a fixed rent or for hire.

[4] 若见第七宫有凶星，或凶星照见第七宫，这些东西的主人会反悔，什么也不以定租或租赁给出去。

[5] And if he does, depravity, indecency, and treachery enter into it.

[5] 若他照样给了，其中就会掺进不义、丑行与背信。

[6] If you find the malefics in the tenth sign, or regarding it, the matter will not go straight, and there will be a withholding in the rent [text uncertain].

[6] 若见凶星在第十宫或照见第十宫，此事不会顺当，租金上会有扣押拖欠〔原文疑有讹误〕。

[7] If you find the malefics in the fourth place, or regarding it, then even if the matter goes straight, its outcome will be bad, and harm and what is not desired will enter into it from this.

[7] 若见凶星在第四宫或照见第四宫，此事即使顺当，结局也坏，由此会有伤害与不如意的事。

[8] The separation and the application of the Moon also indicate these things.

[8] 月亮的离相位与入相位也指示这些事。
