IV. Judgement on the Bicorporeal Signs.

第四章　论双体星座的判断。

[1] If you find that the Ascendant is a bicorporeal sign, it signifies that the work begun at that hour will not be finished until another work enters into it and is finished before the first work is finished, so that one does not do what he had intended but something else; and the same holds in every inception in which the Ascendant is a bicorporeal sign.

[1] 若见上升是双体星座，表示那个时刻开始的事情办不完，中间会插进另一件事，而且那件事先于第一件事办完——人做的不是原先打算的，而是别的事；凡上升是双体星座的起事都是这样。

[2] Look at the diurnal and the nocturnal signs; I shall explain to you which of them are diurnal and which nocturnal.

[2] 要看昼星座与夜星座；我来给你说明哪些是昼星座，哪些是夜星座。

[3] The diurnal ones are Aries and its triplicity, Leo and Sagittarius; and Gemini and its triplicity, Libra and Aquarius.

[3] 昼星座是白羊及其三方狮子、射手；双子及其三方天秤、水瓶。

[4] The nocturnal ones are Taurus and its triplicity, Virgo and Capricorn; and Cancer and its triplicity, Scorpio and Pisces.

[4] 夜星座是金牛及其三方处女、摩羯；巨蟹及其三方天蝎、双鱼。

[5] When a work is begun by day, it is strongest if the Ascendant is diurnal and the Moon is in a diurnal sign; and by night, if the Ascendant is a nocturnal sign and the Moon is in a nocturnal sign; for this is among the best of reckonings.

[5] 白天起事，上升是昼星座、月亮也在昼星座，力量最强；夜里起事，上升是夜星座、月亮也在夜星座；这是最好的算法之一。

Apply this especially to anyone who wants to travel or to board a ship, for that inception will be easy, smooth, and agreeable, if God the Exalted wills.

尤其用在想出远门或乘船的人身上，这样起事就会顺利、容易、如意——若至高的真主意欲。
