XXXII. On Mercury's Lodging in the House of Another.

第三十二章　论水星入驻他星之庙。

[1] If Mercury is in the house of Saturn or in his terms, the native will be mute, or a lisper, or deaf; secretive, letting no one learn what is in his mind; thoughtful, searching into the affairs of all people and anxious over the lives of others, until he becomes distracted by it.

[1] 若水星在土星的庙或界，此人或哑，或口齿不清，或耳聋；深藏不露，不让任何人知道他心里想什么；他好思虑，探究所有人的事，为别人的生计操心，以至于为此心神恍惚。

Some of them know the secrets of the books of the people of the religions, being initiates and setters-up of sacred images; some are learned in the stars; some are augurs who read the birds, seers and sacrificers, providing for themselves by their own toils.

其中有人通晓各宗教经书的奥秘，是入秘仪者、安立神像的人；有人精通星辰；有人观鸟占卜，做占卜者与献祭者，靠自己的劳苦谋生。

[2] If Mercury is in the house or the terms of Jupiter, he will be a man of dignity, an orator, learned in the laws and an accountant, or a manager of the affairs of kings and nobles, or a teacher of men — of kings too — in speech, in disputes, and in judgement, sitting in judgement with such men; and he will always be in the work of the cities and of kings.

[2] 若水星在木星的庙或界，此人有威仪，是演说者，通晓法律，做会计，或替君王与贵人管理事务，或在言辞、争讼与审判上教导别人——也教导君王——并与这些人一同审案；他会一直在城邦与君王的事务中任职。

[3] If Mercury is in the terms of Mars or in his house, he will be foolish and given to jesting, a liar without shame, believing neither in God nor in good works, loving fornication; some of them commit forgery; some sit with sorcerers and converse with them, or search into their arts, and cheat in measures; he denies a debt when he has taken it, and people count him among those who have no faithfulness and no good name.

[3] 若水星在火星的界或庙，此人愚妄而好戏谑，说谎不知羞耻，既不信神也不信善行，好淫乱；其中有人伪造文书；有人与巫师同坐、交谈，或钻研他们的法术，在量器上作弊；借了债就抵赖，人们把他算作没有信义、没有好名声的人。

Such men are also godless, robbers, thieves, murderers, perjurers, forgers, covetous of what belongs to others, adulterous, poisoners, defrauders of deposits, and men driven out of their cities.

这类人还不敬神，是强盗、窃贼、杀人者、发假誓者、伪造文书者，贪图别人之物，通奸，下毒，侵吞别人寄存的财物，被逐出城邦。

[4] If Mercury is in the house of Venus or in her terms, he will be welcomed, comely, charming, beloved, and cheerful, voluble and persuasive, doing all his work quickly and smoothly; some of them are learned men, poets, or singers, skilled in music or in some art of colour, or dyers, or teachers of dancing and the like.

[4] 若水星在金星的庙或界，此人受欢迎，容貌好，讨人喜欢，惹人爱，开朗，能说会道，善于劝服，做什么事都又快又顺；其中有人是学者、诗人或歌者，精通音乐或某种色彩之艺，或做染工，或教舞蹈之类。

If Mercury is in an angle and out of the beams, he will be a poet and a composer of songs, intelligent, acquiring wealth and making his living from this, sought after by everyone and gaining friends.

若水星在角上，又不在光束之下，此人会是诗人、作曲者，聪明，以此得财谋生，人人都需要他，广结朋友。
