第二十一章　〔章题缺〕

If the Moon is in the Ascendant or at the Midheaven in a diurnal nativity, she hinders advancement, the more so if a malefic regards her or is in the place succedent to her; for then there will also be a fall from position.

若白天出生而月亮在上升或在中天，她会阻碍人的进益，若有凶星照见她，或凶星在她的后一宫，就更是如此；因为那时还会失去地位。

Nor will the benefics help her when she is so placed, not even if she is in her exaltation or her own house; for Dorotheus too says:

月亮处在这样的位置时，吉星也帮不了她，即使她在自己的旺或本庙也不行；因为多罗修斯也说：

“if Zeus does not look upon her, nor the queenly goddess herself, or if the Moon has not obtained a house or an exaltation.”

「若宙斯不眷顾她，那位尊贵的女神自己也不，或月亮未曾得到本庙或旺。」

By night, if she is in the Ascendant or at the Midheaven, or in the places succedent to these, she signifies men who are illustrious and widely known, and mothers of greater standing; but a malefic regarding her becomes a hindrance, and they have no benefit from what they acquire, just as a benefic regarding her makes them rich in possessions.

若夜里出生，月亮在上升或中天，或在它们的后一宫，主此人显赫、广为人知，母亲地位较高；但若有凶星照见她，就成为阻碍，他们所得之物对他们毫无益处；正如吉星照见她，会使他们产业丰厚。

In the Descendant she makes the mother die quickly, and brings the native a fall from his possessions or a removal from his country, and griefs on account of wives and children.

月亮在下降，会使母亲早死，给此人带来家产的丧失或离开故国，并因妻子与子女而忧伤。

In the IC, if malefics regard her, she brings him trouble from hidden places: there are confinements and bonds on account of hidden matters, and deaths of children and wives.

月亮在天底，若有凶星照见，会从隐秘之处给他带来麻烦：因隐秘之事而遭拘禁、戴枷锁，并有子女与妻子之死。

But if Jupiter and Venus regard her in the IC, they bring benefit from hidden sources, for the place is obscure.

但若木星与金星照见在天底的月亮，会从隐秘的来源带来益处，因为这个位置是隐晦的。
