IV. Judgement on the Matter of the Native's Upbringing.

第四章　论婴儿养育之事的判断。

[1] Now I shall relate to you the matter of upbringing.

[1] 现在我给你讲养育之事。

[2] Beware of losing heart or cutting off your hope for the native because you find a malefic for him in an angle, for what you should look at is the first, second, and third lords of the triplicity of the Ascendant.

[2] 不要因为见到有凶星在角，就胆怯，或对这孩子断了指望；因为你该看的是上升三分主的第一、第二、第三颗。

[3] If you find one of them in its own sect and in an angle, or in any other of the places in which they are strengthened, this increases his life, by God's leave, and protects him.

[3] 若见其中一颗在自己的区分、又在角，或在其他能使它们得力的位置，这会延长他的寿命——以真主的许可——并护佑他。

[4] If all three of them are in strong places, it is better.

[4] 若三颗都在有力的位置，就更好。

[5] If two of them are in a strong place, the power of their indication is complete, and the best of this is that the first of them be in a good place.

[5] 若其中两颗在有力的位置，它们所示的力量就完足；其中最好的是第一颗在好的位置。

[6] If they are all in strong places, in square or trine, and regard one another, that is an excellent sign.

[6] 若它们都在有力的位置，彼此成四分或三分、互相照见，那是极好的征象。

[7] If they also regard one of the two luminaries, it is stronger for them.

[7] 若它们还照见两光之一，对它们就更有力。

[8] If you find Saturn or Mars, or both of them, in the Ascendant, while the lords of the triplicity of the Ascendant are in the places in which they are strengthened, not under the beams of the Sun but emerging in their own light, judge that he will be reared.

[8] 若见土星或火星，或两者都在上升，而上升三分主在使它们得力的位置，不在太阳光束下，而在自己的光中显露，就判他能养活。

[9] But if you find the lord of the triplicity of the Ascendant in the sign of misery, the sixth, or the third, then turn to the lord of the triplicity of the Lot of Fortune.

[9] 但若见上升三分主在不幸之宫、第六或第三，就要转看福点的三分主。

[10] If you find it regarding the Lot of Fortune, or in a good place and regarding the Sun by day and the Moon by night, it is sound.

[10] 若见它照见福点，或在好的位置，并且白天照见太阳、夜里照见月亮，就好。

[11] If you find Jupiter in the Ascendant, or in the triplicity of the Ascendant, or in the place that follows the angle of the Ascendant, he will be reared.

[11] 若见木星在上升，或在上升的三方，或在紧随上升之角的位置，他能养活。

[12] If you find the Moon and Mercury together in the Ascendant and Jupiter in the IC, it signifies life, by the leave of God the Exalted.

[12] 若见月亮与水星同在上升，木星在天底，主得活——以至高真主的许可。

[13] If you find Saturn, Mercury, and Jupiter in the angles by day, they signify a good upbringing.

[13] 若白天见土星、水星、木星都在角，主养育得好。

[14] If you find Saturn by day in an angle and in his own triplicity, he will be reared, if God wills.

[14] 若白天见土星在角、又在他自己的三方，此人能养活，若真主意欲。
