V. On Knowing How Many Women He Will Marry.

第五章　论此人娶几个女人。

[1] If you want to know how many women he will marry, count from the Midheaven to Venus; according to the number of planets between them he will marry that number of women; and wherever you find Saturn, know coldness and difficulty, and wherever you find Mars, death, if no benefic regards him.

[1] 若要知道他娶几个女人，从中天数到金星；两者之间有几颗行星，他就娶几个女人；凡见土星，要知道是冷淡与艰难；凡见火星，若无吉星照见，就是死亡。

[2] In the nativities of women, if you want to know how many husbands she will marry, count from the Midheaven to Mars; if Mars is in the Midheaven, count from the Midheaven to Jupiter; the number of planets between them, say, is the number she will marry.

[2] 女命若要知道她嫁几个丈夫，从中天数到火星；若火星就在中天，从中天数到木星；两者之间有几颗行星，就说她嫁几次。

[3] When you find Venus cadent from the Midheaven, say for men that there is little constancy with women; and say the same for women in the matter of their husbands, if you find Mars in the seventh.

[3] 若见金星从中天落下，对男人就说他对女人难有定性；女命若见火星在第七宫，也这样说她对丈夫。

[4] Keep this lot: count from Venus to the degree of the seventh sign, add to it the degrees of the Ascendant, and cast it out from the Ascendant thirty at a time; where it reaches, there is the Lot of Pleasure and Marriage.

[4] 记住这个点：从金星数到第七宫的度数，加上上升的度数，从上升起每三十度一宫数出去；数到哪里，欢愉与婚姻点就在哪里。

[5] Look who its lord is, who is with it, and who regards it: if a malefic is in this lot or regards it, say that the native marries disgraced women and those in whom there is no good.

[5] 看它的庙主是谁、谁与它同在、谁照见它：若有凶星在这个点上或照见它，就说此人娶声名狼藉、毫无好处的女人。

[6] If the lord of that lot is in a bad place, Venus under the beams of the Sun, and the malefics regard, most of those whose nativity is so will never have a marriage.

[6] 若这个点的点主在坏的位置，金星在太阳光束之下，又有凶星照见，这样的人多半终身无婚。

[7] The time of marriage: whenever Jupiter passes where the lot is, or its square, its opposition, or its trine, or the trine, square, or opposition of Venus, the marriage will be at that time, provided Saturn does not regard from opposition or square; for if Saturn regards so, he cools it and there is nothing but ruin, and if there is a marriage, it does not last.

[7] 婚期：凡木星行经这个点所在之处，或它的四分、对冲、三分之位，或金星的三分、四分、对冲之位，那时就会结婚，只要土星不从对冲、四分照见；因为土星若这样照见，就使婚事冷却，只有败坏，即便成婚也不长久。

[8] Whenever Jupiter passes the place where Venus is, it is apt for marriage.

[8] 凡木星行经金星所在之处，都宜于结婚。

[9] When the year reaches the sign in which the lot was, it indicates marriage, unless Saturn is as I mentioned, for Saturn cools it; yet sometimes the transit of Saturn, if in the root nativity he was in a strong place and had charge of some matters of the lot, regarding the lot, indicates marriage, especially if Jupiter helps him by regard, for Jupiter and Venus indicate a beautiful woman.

[9] 当年度推到这个点原在的星座，主结婚，除非土星如我所说那样，因为土星使之冷却；不过有时土星的行经也主结婚——若在本命盘中土星处在有力的位置，又管着这个点的某些事、照见这个点，尤其木星以相位助他时，因为木星与金星主一个美丽的女人。

[10] If many women have been recognised for the native in his nativity, then whenever Venus passes into her house or regards her house, he marries; but the marriage will be neither lasting nor suitable.

[10] 若本命盘已显示此人女人众多，那么每当金星行经她的庙或照见她的庙，他就结婚；但婚姻既不长久也不相宜。

[11] Mars also, when he regards Venus and Venus regards him as I have mentioned to you, indicates a marriage of short duration.

[11] 火星照见金星、金星也照见火星，像我说的那样，也主婚姻短暂。

[12] A man is suited to a woman and a woman to a man when their Ascendants make one angle.

[12] 若两人的上升构成同一个角，男女就彼此相宜。

[13] When both luminaries, or one of them, is in the Ascendant or the Midheaven, that too is suitable.

[13] 若两光或其中一个在对方的上升或中天，也相宜。

[14] Likewise if you find that where the Venus of one is, the Moon of the other is, and where the Moon of one is, the Venus of the other is; especially if the Moon of one is in trine to the Moon of the other.

[14] 若见一人的金星所在正是另一人的月亮所在，一人的月亮所在正是另一人的金星所在，也是如此；尤其一人的月亮与另一人的月亮成三分时。

[15] But if, where the luminary of the one is, there is a malefic of the other in that sign, it indicates harm and little agreement; but if, where the luminary of the one is, there is a benefic of the other, or the benefics of both natives are in the angles, or their lots are in one sign, that indicates agreement and suitability.

[15] 但若一人的日或月所在的星座里有另一人的凶星，主伤害与不和；若一人的日或月所在之处有另一人的吉星，或两人的吉星都在角上，或两人的点在同一星座，主和睦相宜。
