IV. The Lot of Marriage.

第四章　婚姻点。

[1] If the Lot of Marriage is in opposition to Venus or in opposition to the Ascendant, or in a bad place, or if Venus is in a masculine sign and is moreover oriental — for the feminine signs are of the night sect, and Venus is of the night sect — most of those born so remain to the end of their life without a wife.

[1] 若婚姻点与金星对冲，或与上升对冲，或在坏的位置，或金星在阳性星座又东出——因为阴性星座属夜的区分，金星也属夜的区分——这样出生的人多半到老都没有妻子。

[2] For the diurnal planets rejoice in the east and the nocturnal rejoice in the west; and what I have told you of this is firm.

[2] 因为昼星喜在东方，夜星喜在西方；我告诉你的这一点是确定的。

[3] If you find the lords of Venus's triplicity regarding neither the Midheaven nor Venus, these men have no pleasure in marriage.

[3] 若见金星的三分主既不照见中天，也不照见金星，这样的男人在婚姻中没有乐趣。

[4] If moreover the lords of the triplicity of the Lot of Marriage regard neither the Lot of Marriage, nor Venus, nor the Midheaven, he will never marry.

[4] 若婚姻点的三分主又既不照见婚姻点，也不照见金星和中天，他永远不会结婚。

[5] When the lord of Venus's triplicity is in the last degrees of the signs, or in the terms of the malefics, or in the IC, not in its own place, and the malefics regard it, that native will never marry.

[5] 若金星的三分主在星座的末几度，或在凶星的界，或在天底，又不在自己的位置，而有凶星照见它，此人永远不会结婚。

[6] But if the lord of Venus's triplicity is in its own place, it indicates marriage.

[6] 但若金星的三分主在自己的位置，就主有婚姻。

[7] If Venus is in the seventh place from the Ascendant, she indicates harm, toil, and loss on account of women, and little constancy with them; he has intercourse with women in need and poverty, with slave-girls and strangers;

[7] 若金星在上升起第七宫，主因女人而受害、劳苦、损失，对她们难有定性；他与贫穷匮乏的女人、婢女和外乡女子交合；

and yet he will have a marriage because Venus is in an angle, but because she is opposite the Ascendant she indicates harm on account of women.

不过因为金星在角上，他还是会有婚姻；只是因为她与上升对冲，主因女人受害。

And always Aphrogenes, holding the western angle [lacuna].

而阿佛洛吉尼斯若总是占着西方之角〔此处原文有缺〕。

[8] If Venus is in a bad place without the regard of a benefic, and Saturn regards her, free of Jupiter, she indicates that the native remains without marriage and has intercourse with disgraced women and those in whom there is no good.

[8] 若金星在坏的位置，没有吉星相照，而土星照见她，木星又不来，主此人一直没有婚姻，与声名狼藉、毫无好处的女人交合。

[9] Venus, when she is in her own places, indicates marriage, and the marriage brings many children.

[9] 金星在自己的位置，主有婚姻，婚姻又多子女。

[10] When Venus is in a tropical sign and in her own place, in a strong position, she indicates his moving from woman to woman, especially if the planets regard him.

[10] 若金星在回归星座、又在自己的位置、处于有力之位，主他从一个女人换到另一个女人，尤其诸星照见时。

[11] When Venus is in the IC, she indicates the death of the native's wives and children, and grief over that.

[11] 若金星在天底，主此人的妻子与子女死去，并为此悲伤。

[12] If the IC is a tropical sign, especially Cancer or Capricorn, that is worse and more evil, for the native will desire intercourse with disgraced women or open prostitutes, and debt will always come upon him on that account.

[12] 若天底是回归星座，尤其巨蟹或摩羯，就更坏更凶，因为此人会贪恋声名狼藉的女人或公开的娼妓，并总因此负债。

[13] When Saturn is with Venus, or Venus is in the terms of Saturn and Saturn regards her, it is bad for marriage, for he will marry a widow, or an old woman, or a woman who has been blamed in the matter of her distress or her child, or whose mother is of little worth, or a woman disgraced in the matter of livelihood [text uncertain]; and likewise it is bad in the nativity of women for their husbands and their children.

[13] 若土星与金星同在，或金星在土星的界而土星照见她，对婚姻不利，因为他会娶寡妇，或老妇，或在苦难、子女上遭人指摘的女人，或母亲微贱的女人，或在生计上丢脸的女人〔原文疑有讹误〕；女命也同样，对她的丈夫和子女不利。

[14] But when Venus is with Mars, or in the terms of Mars and Mars regards her, in the nativity of women the woman will be eager for adultery, and grief will come upon her concerning her children; and it indicates likewise in the nativities of men, for perhaps the wife of such men is barren, because Mars is with Venus or in her opposition.

[14] 但若金星与火星同在，或在火星的界而火星照见她，女命则这女人贪求通奸，又会为子女伤心；男命也一样，因为这样的男人的妻子或许不育，缘于火星与金星同在或与她对冲。

[15] When you find Jupiter and Venus under the beams of the Sun, they indicate an obscure marriage, especially if the sign is barren, for he marries widows and those whose childbearing has ceased.

[15] 若见木星与金星都在太阳光束之下，主婚姻默默无闻，尤其星座又是不育星座时，因为他娶的是寡妇和已不能生育的女人。

[16] If you find the Moon in her house or her exaltation with Venus, and Jupiter regards, those marry from among their own women.

[16] 若见月亮在自己的庙或旺与金星同在，木星照见，这样的人娶自家族的女人。

[17] If you find Venus and the Moon in opposition to each other, or in square, or both in one sign in a bad place, that indicates harm in marriage; and if they are in an angle, they indicate the native's marrying his sister or the nearest of his women.

[17] 若见金星与月亮彼此对冲或四分，或同在一个星座而处在坏的位置，主婚姻受害；若在角上，主此人娶自己的姐妹或最亲近的女眷。

[18] If you find the Moon and Venus together in the IC, and Jupiter regards, it indicates marriage among his relatives, though children will be born to him only at the end of his life.

[18] 若见月亮与金星一同在天底，木星照见，主他在亲族中婚配，只是要到晚年才有子女。

[19] If you find the lord of the Lot of Marriage in the Lot of Marriage, or the lord of the lot regards it or the Moon, those marry from their relatives, a brother's daughter or a sister's daughter.

[19] 若见婚姻点之主就在婚姻点上，或点主照见点或月亮，这样的人娶亲族之女，兄弟的女儿或姐妹的女儿。

[20] When Saturn is with Venus in the house of one of them, in the Ascendant, he has intercourse with his daughters and his elder sisters; and if the Moon is square to them, he has intercourse with his maternal aunt.

[20] 若土星与金星同在其中一颗的庙、在上升，他与自己的女儿和姐姐交合；若月亮与它们四分，他与姨母交合。

[21] If the Moon does not regard, but Mars regards from square, he marries a woman in whom he delights, and in any case loss of property comes upon him on account of a woman; and if the native is female, she is a tribade.

[21] 若月亮不照见，而火星从四分照见，他娶到一个让他欢喜的女人，但无论如何总会因女人破财；若此人是女的，她是同性相恋的女子。

[22] If Venus is in an alien house or in a tropical sign, and the Moon regards, or the Moon is with her, she will be a woman eager for intercourse, and from her eagerness for it she gives men payment; and so also when Saturn regards too.

[22] 若金星在他星之庙或回归星座，月亮照见，或月亮与她同在，这女人贪求交合，贪到倒贴男人钱；土星也照见时也是这样。

[23] Venus and Mars, if each is in the house or the terms of the other, indicate debauchery and wickedness; likewise if they are together, or regard each other from square or opposition, or are in the east, that debauchery will be public.

[23] 金星与火星若各在对方的庙或界，主淫乱与恶行；若它们同在，或彼此四分、对冲，或在东方，淫行就会公开。

[24] If it is in the west, it is concealed and secret; but it is most public and the greatest disgrace when the Sun also regards it, for that does harm.

[24] 若在西方，就隐蔽秘密；但若太阳也照见，就最公开、丑闻最大，因为那会造成伤害。

[25] If moreover the lord of the sign of marriage is Mercury, and Mercury is in the sixth, occidental, or in a quadruped sign, and the sign of marriage, being quadruped, is afflicted, marriage is not decreed for that native while he is young; and if he marries, his wife's survival will be short, for most of those spend their lives without marriage [text uncertain].

[25] 若婚姻之宫的庙主又是水星，水星在第六宫、西入，或在四足星座，而婚姻之宫本身是四足星座又受克，此人年轻时命中无婚；即便结婚，妻子也活不长，因为这类人大多一生无婚〔原文疑有讹误〕。

[26] If the lord of the sign of marriage is in a good place with this, he has intercourse with a sick woman, or a stranger who has no one, and he has no constancy with women, and strife and harm come upon him on their account.

[26] 若此外婚姻之宫的庙主在好的位置，他会与病弱的女人或无依无靠的外乡女子交合，对女人没有定性，并因她们惹上纷争与伤害。

[27] If the lord of the Lot of Marriage is under the beams of the Sun or under the earth, and the malefics regard, and it regards its own place, he has intercourse with prostitutes and slave-girls, or with a woman with whom many men have had intercourse.

[27] 若婚姻点之主在太阳光束之下或在地下，有凶星照见，而它照见自己的位置，他与娼妓、婢女，或与许多男人交合过的女人交合。

[28] But if you find the lord of the lot rejoicing in its light, regarding its own place, with the benefics regarding it, and its position strong, in an angle or a place following an angle, that native marries a beautiful woman without fault, chaste, praised for this, and his condition and benefit are noble.

[28] 但若见点主光亮充足、照见自己的位置，又有吉星照见它，位置有力，在角上或紧随角的宫位，此人会娶一个美丽无瑕、贞洁而受称赞的女人，他的境况与得益都很体面。

[29] If the lord of this lot I have mentioned is Jupiter, the benefit and good that he gains will come from the nobles among the people, on account of women.

[29] 若我说的这个点的点主是木星，他得到的好处与利益会因女人而来自显贵之人。

[30] If it is Saturn, that benefit and good is the inheritance of the property of the woman's father and her relatives, whichever of them it reaches him from, or the inheritance of a freed slave.

[30] 若是土星，这好处是继承妻子父亲与亲族的财产，不论从谁那里传到他手里，或是继承某个被释奴的遗产。

[31] If Mars is the lord of that lot, the benefit will be on account of a foreign man whose work resembles the works of Mars, or the benefit comes from soldiers.

[31] 若火星是这个点的点主，好处因某个外乡人而来，他的行当类似火星之事，或好处来自兵士。

[32] If the lord of the lot is Mercury, the benefit that comes on account of women has its cause in reckoning and speech.

[32] 若点主是水星，因女人而来的好处起因于算术与言辞。

[33] If it is Venus, he is praised and benefits on account of women and females.

[33] 若是金星，他因女人、女性而受称赞、得益。

[34] If the lord of the lot is Mercury and is in a bad place, while the benefics regard that place or a benefic is in it, he marries a chaste and good woman, but he toils and suffers because of Mercury's position.

[34] 若点主是水星而在坏的位置，同时吉星照见那个位置或有吉星在内，他娶到贞洁善良的女人，但因水星的位置而劳苦受累。

[35] If the lord of that place is in a good place, and a malefic regards that place or is in it, toil and hardship pass over them on account of women, or else they nevertheless obtain pleasure and benefit on their account.

[35] 若那个位置的庙主在好的位置，而有凶星照见那个位置或在其中，这些人会因女人经历劳苦艰难，或者终究也从她们那里得到乐趣与好处。

[36] Look at the seventh place from the lot: if you find its lord in the lot and the lord of the lot in the seventh, those conceal their marriage and have intercourse with women secretly, then marry them afterwards, and the women bear them children.

[36] 看点起算的第七宫：若见它的庙主在点上，点主在第七宫，这样的人隐瞒婚事，暗中与女人交合，后来才娶她们，她们也为他们生儿育女。
