XXVII. Fall from Rank, and Loss.

第二十七章　地位的跌落与损失。

[1] If you find Saturn with the Moon in one of the angles, then even if he is the son of a king, it indicates his fall from fortune and property.

[1] 若见土星与月亮同在某个角上，即便他是王子，也主他从福分与财产上跌落。

[2] If Mars also regards, it is evil.

[2] 若火星也照见，就是凶事。

[3] If Jupiter is with them in an angle, his property and fortune remain for a time, and nonetheless he falls, even if Jupiter regards.

[3] 若木星与它们同在角上，他的财产与福分能保持一段时间，但终究还是跌落，即便木星照见也是如此。

[4] I command you to look at the sign which is the second place from the Ascendant.

[4] 我嘱咐你看上升起第二宫的那个星座。

[5] If you find a malefic in it, or in its opposition or its square, judge a fall in property and livelihood.

[5] 若见凶星在其中，或在与它对冲、四分的位置，就断财产与生计跌落。

[6] If Venus is the lady of that place, say that this loss and fall will come on account of women or through women, from his notoriety with women.

[6] 若金星是这个宫的庙主，就说这损失与跌落因女人而来，或经女人之手，出于他在女人方面的名声。

[7] If Mercury is its lord, the loss that comes will be on account of writings and reckoning, or of inheritances or the handling of affairs.

[7] 若水星是庙主，到来的损失因文书与账目，或因遗产、经手的事务。

[8] If Jupiter is its lord, the loss is on account of a noble man, or the anger of kings, or the business of the ruler, or public affairs, or his city.

[8] 若木星是庙主，损失因某位贵人，或君王之怒，或官府差事，或公众之事，或他的城邦。

[9] If that house is the house of Mars, it will be on account of soldiers or military matters, or war, or anger, or battle, or plunder, or thieves and raiders, or burning by fire, or the like, for this is his nature.

[9] 若这个宫是火星的庙，损失因兵士或军务，或战争，或怒气，或厮杀，或劫掠，或盗贼与劫匪，或火烧，或诸如此类，因为这就是火星的本性。

[10] If the house is the house of Saturn, his loss will come from old men and slaves, or from freedmen of no repute or praise, or from those whose livelihood is troubled with toil and affliction, or in building, or on account of land, inheritance, a burial, or matters of the dead.

[10] 若这个宫是土星的庙，他的损失来自老人与奴仆，或来自没有名声、不受称赞的被释奴，或来自生计困顿劳苦的人，或在营建之事，或因田地、遗产、葬地或死者之事。

[11] If you find that place to be the house of the Sun, which is Leo, the loss will be on account of his father and forefathers, or his fathers' wives and his mother's husbands, or a debt, or money he borrowed.

[11] 若见这个宫是太阳的庙，即狮子，损失因他的父亲与祖辈，或父亲的妻子、母亲的丈夫，或债务，或借来的钱。

[12] If that sign is the house of the Moon, which is Cancer, and it is not in a good place, the loss will be on account of mothers, or his mother's kin, or his father's wife.

[12] 若这个星座是月亮的庙，即巨蟹，又不在好的位置，损失因母亲，或母亲的亲族，或父亲的妻子。

[13] Look at the kinds of the signs, whether tropical, solid, or bicorporeal, or of the kinds of water, air, quadrupeds, human form, or wild beasts, and whether its lord is a malefic or a benefic; for it is bad if the lord of the second house is in a corrupt place and is a malefic, but if it is a benefic and is in a bad place, he will be middling in livelihood.

[13] 要看星座的种类：是回归、固定还是双体，属水、属气、四足、人形还是野兽，庙主是凶星还是吉星；因为若第二宫之主在败坏的位置、又是凶星，就坏；若是吉星而在坏的位置，此人生计中等。

[14] If it is a benefic in a good place, but the malefics regard it as you found, he may perhaps meet with misfortune.

[14] 若是吉星在好的位置，但有凶星照见它，像你所见那样，他也许会遭灾。

[15] If the lord of that place is in a bad place, it also harms its own place, or [so do] other malefics that regard it or are in it;

[15] 若这个宫的庙主在坏的位置，它也会损害自己的宫；照见它或在其中的别的凶星也是如此；

[16] such people are always anxious about livelihood, with little pleasure, full of grief, misfortune, misery, and hardship, and everything they seek is with toil, hardship, and little profit; and if it is the nativity of a king, he spends his property on the meanest things.

[16] 这样的人总为生计发愁，少有乐趣，满是忧伤、灾祸、困苦与艰难，所求的一切都要辛劳吃苦而少有所得；若是君王的盘，他会把财产花在最微不足道的事上。

[17] Look also at the Moon: if you find the Moon, together with what I mentioned of the lord of the second place, in a good place, regarding the second place, increasing in her number and in her light, in trine to the Sun, and Mars not regarding her, it indicates that he will be known, of great authority and office in the cities and in the service of kings, trusted by them and established in that position.

[17] 也要看月亮：若见月亮连同我说的第二宫之主都在好的位置，照见第二宫，数目与光都在增长，与太阳成三分，又没有火星照见她，主此人有名，在城邦和君王的差事中权柄大、职位高，受他们信任，在这个位置上根基稳固。

[18] But if what I mentioned is as I mentioned while the Moon is decreasing, that diminishes it; they will not manage it well, nor will they have praise in it.

[18] 但若其余如前所说，而月亮光减，就会减损这些；他们办不好差事，也得不到称赞。

[19] Look who the lord of the second place is; then count from it to the second place, and cast out the same number from the Ascendant; from the place where it falls the matter of livelihood will become clear to you.

[19] 看第二宫之主是谁，从它数到第二宫，再从上升起数出同样的数目；从落到的那个位置，就能看清生计的事。

[20] For when you look into its condition, the condition of its lord, and the planets that regard them, the state of livelihood becomes clear to you.

[20] 因为你看了这个位置的状况、它的庙主的状况，以及照见它们的行星，生计的情形就清楚了。

[21] If its lord is in a good place and the benefics witness it, pronounce good for him.

[21] 若其庙主在好的位置，又有吉星见证，就断他有好处。

[22] If the lord of that place is a malefic and regards another malefic, or is with it, it indicates much toil in livelihood.

[22] 若这个位置的庙主是凶星，又照见另一颗凶星或与之同在，主生计上劳苦甚多。

[23] If the lord of that place is a benefic and is favourably placed in an angle, in its own place, he will be rich and possessed of much.

[23] 若这个位置的庙主是吉星，又顺利地处在角上、在自己的位置，此人富有、资财丰厚。

[24] If it is occidental and will become oriental within seven days, he will be possessed of much, but without renown, and not everyone will know of his wealth.

[24] 若它西入，而七天之内会东出，此人资财丰厚，却没有名声，不是人人都知道他富有。

[25] Look which planet is found in the lot.

[25] 看有哪颗行星在这个点上。

[26] If you find the Lot of Property in a good place, and its lord likewise and oriental, what it signifies will last a long time.

[26] 若见财产点在好的位置，其主也一样，又是东出的，它所主的事会长久保持。

[27] But if the lord of the Lot of Property is in a good place but under the beams of the Sun, or about to be hidden, what the lot signifies remains only a little while.

[27] 但若财产点之主在好的位置，却在太阳光束之下，或快要隐没，这个点所主的事只能维持很短时间。

Having shone for a little while, it withers, swiftly fallen.

闪耀不过片刻，转眼凋落。

[28] If you find the lot in a bad place, his affairs have no elevation and no good outcome.

[28] 若见这个点在坏的位置，他的事业既不会兴起，也没有好结局。

[29] If you find the planets retrograde in a nativity in which the planets are strong, he will be hard-pressed and cowardly.

[29] 若在诸星有力的盘里见行星逆行，此人会困窘而怯懦。

[30] If it is so in a bad nativity, his affairs tend toward corruption.

[30] 若在不好的盘里也是这样，他的事就会走向败坏。

[31] Know also the Lot of Livelihood.

[31] 还要知道生计点。

[32] If you find Jupiter in an angle or in a place following an angle, let the beginning of your statement be that he will be well brought up [text uncertain].

[32] 若见木星在角上或紧随角的宫位，你开口第一句就说他会被好好养大〔原文疑有讹误〕。

[33] If some of the malefics are in his nativity, it indicates hardship.

[33] 若他的盘里有凶星，主艰难。

[34] If a malefic regards it, or the planets indicate its corruption, they have indicated in his nativity hardship and that he will part from his parents; and so too is the judgement on it.

[34] 若有凶星照见它，或诸星表明它受损，那么他的盘就显示了艰难，以及他会与父母分离；判断也就照此下。

[35] For even if he parts from his parents as the planets indicated, he inherits their property; for in bad nativities, when Jupiter is in such a place, he lightens the harm and dissolves the evils, and even if the native does not attain a sound livelihood, he attains something because of Jupiter's position.

[35] 因为即使他照诸星所示与父母分离，也会继承他们的财产；在不好的盘里，木星处在这样的位置，会减轻伤害、化解祸患；此人即便得不到良好的生计，也会因木星的位置得到一些。

[36] Likewise Venus, when she is in an angle or a place following an angle, except that her strength is not like the strength of Jupiter except in the matter of women; for he will be seen to have a share of livelihood and pleasure on their account.

[36] 金星在角上或紧随角的宫位也是如此，只是她的力量不如木星，唯独在女人之事上例外；他会因女人而分得生计与乐趣。

[37] If these two benefics I have mentioned to you are strong in this position of theirs, they indicate good and favour in the cities and among the community of men, for he will have many acquaintances and friends, and sometimes his enemy turns back to friendship with him; especially if these two planets in their places regard the Sun by day and the Moon by night by trine, for their strength, effect, and stability increase.

[37] 若我说的这两颗吉星在这个位置有力，主他在城邦和众人中得好处、有人缘，因为他相识与朋友众多，有时连仇人也回心转意与他交好；尤其这两颗星在其位置上以三分照见白天的太阳、夜里的月亮时，因为它们的力量、作用与稳固都会增加。

[38] If you find Mars the fighter or Saturn the destroyer in such places as I mentioned for Jupiter and Venus, they indicate that his upbringing will be cut off, and that even if the native does good to all people, he is not thanked or praised, and those whom he has not harmed at all become his enemies, so that from people at large he sees worry and grief.

[38] 若见好战的火星或毁坏的土星处在我说木星、金星的那些位置，主他的养育中断；即便他对所有人行善，也得不到感谢与称赞，连他毫无伤害的人也与他为敌，以至他从众人那里只见到忧愁烦恼。

[39] Even if he were a king, his family and his city would be spoiled against him, and he would fall into strife, quarrels, and need.

[39] 即使他是君王，他的家人和城邦也会与他离心，他会陷入纷争、诉讼与匮乏。

[40] Say the same in middling and lowly nativities, for his cousins and his clan will be hostile to him, and he too will love none of them.

[40] 在中等、低微的盘里也这样说：他的堂亲和宗族会敌视他，他也一个都不爱。

[41] If you find Saturn in that place, that native will be given to brooding and worry, ugly, wicked, ill-omened for himself and for those who mix with him.

[41] 若见土星在这个位置，此人多思多虑，丑陋、恶劣，对自己、对与他往来的人都不吉利。

[42] But if it is Mars, it indicates boldness, and that he is an active worker, light in thought and reflection; and the least harmful outcome of Saturn and Mars is when Jupiter and Venus regard it.

[42] 若是火星，主大胆，主他是个肯干的人，想事看事都轻率；土星、火星的伤害最轻的情形，是木星、金星照见这个位置时。

[43] Look, when the native is born, at which planet first comes by entry to the Ascendant after his birth, or to the place of the Moon; from that planet, according to its nature and its phase, the matter of his fortune, his property, and its measure will become clear to you.

[43] 此人出生时，要看出生之后哪颗行星最先以行进到达上升，或到达月亮的位置；从那颗星的本性与相态，就能看清他的福分、财产及其分量。
