XXV. On Knowing the Excellence of Fortune.

第二十五章　论福分的高下。

[1] Know that the best thing for fortune is that the lord of the triplicity of the luminary be in a good place, with the Moon, or in opposition to her, or in her square or her trine.

[1] 要知道，福分最好的情形，是当令之光的三分主在好的宫位，与月亮同在，或与她对冲、四分、三分。

[2] If you find the lord of the triplicity regarding neither the Ascendant, nor the Moon, nor the bright luminary, and the lord of the sign in which the luminary is likewise, let this be a bad sign for that native.

[2] 若见三分主既不照见上升，也不照见月亮，也不照见当令之光，而当令之光所在星座的庙主也是如此，这对此人是不祥之兆。

[3] If Jupiter, Venus, and Mercury are not in these places, this is worse and more evil, for it indicates a short life as well, especially if Saturn and Mars are in this place.

[3] 若木星、金星、水星又不在这些位置，就更坏更凶，因为这还主寿命短，尤其土星、火星在这个位置时。

[4] But if there is a benefic there, in its house, its exaltation, or its triplicity, not under the beams and not retrograde, and the lord of the triplicity regards the Ascendant but not the Moon, that native will be middling in livelihood, with good and evil mixed in it.

[4] 但若那里有一颗吉星，在自己的庙、旺或三方，不在光束之下，也不逆行，而三分主照见上升却不照见月亮，此人生计中等，好坏参半。

[5] You should also look at the lord of the Ascendant, the lord of the Midheaven, and the lord of the house of property, which is the second place from the Ascendant, and at how they lie in the nativity.

[5] 还应当看上升之主、中天之主和财帛宫之主，即上升起第二宫之主，看它们在盘中处境如何。

[6] If you find these in their own places with the benefics, not being malefics themselves, and you find them in the angles or in the places following the angles, say that the native is a man of fortune, honour, praise, commendation, and good livelihood.

[6] 若见它们在自己的位置、与吉星同在，本身又不是凶星，并且在角上或紧随角的宫位，就说此人有福分、有荣誉、受称赞、得美名，生计良好。

[7] But if not all of those I mentioned are in good places, nor all of them in a bad place, the native is middling in livelihood.

[7] 但若我说的这几颗既不全在好的宫位，也不全在坏的宫位，此人生计中等。

[8] If they are all cadent, look where the lord of the seventh sign is, the lord of the eighth sign, the lord of the eleventh sign, which is the sign of fortune, and the lord of the fifth sign and the lord of the fourth angle.

[8] 若它们全都落在果宫，就看第七宫之主、第八宫之主、第十一宫之主（第十一宫即福分之宫）在哪里，还有第五宫之主和第四角之主。

[9] If you find these too outside the angles, cadent, not regarding the Moon by night nor the Sun by day, that native will be in need of food for his belly; and it is worse still if there is a malefic in one of the angles.

[9] 若见这些也都离开角、落在果宫，夜里不照见月亮，白天不照见太阳，此人会连果腹之食都缺；若又有凶星在某个角上，就更甚。
