VIII. On the Inclinations of the Moon at the New Moons from Leo and the Signs in Order.
We have of necessity also appended the inclinations of the Moon. For having come into conjunction with the Sun in Cancer and having appeared in Leo, she will incline toward Cancer; then in Virgo she will incline toward Gemini; then, having come into Libra, she will incline toward Taurus; then, having come into Scorpio, she will incline toward Aries; then, having come into Sagittarius, she will incline toward Capricorn. So she makes the 1st mid-month, which is the first full moon, looking toward the east wind; then from the second mid-month she will hurry away looking toward the south-west wind: then, having receded in Capricorn, she will incline toward Sagittarius; then, having come into Aquarius, she will incline toward Scorpio; then, having come into Pisces, she will incline toward Virgo; then in Taurus she will incline toward Leo; then, having come into Gemini, she will incline toward Cancer. There are 6 signs toward the east wind and 6 signs toward the south-west wind. Conjunction in Leo.
