第二十五章

[1] Now we ought to make known to you by what method the Moon partilely flows away, and by what method too it is joined, which the Greeks call synaphai and aporrhoiai. For in all signs it both flows away from many planets and is joined to many by this aspect. For in whatever sign, in whatever planet's terms it is found, flowing away from that planet it is moving toward the planet whose terms in the same sign it has entered in the second place.

〔一〕现在我们应当让你知道，月亮以什么方法精确到度地流离，又以什么方法相结，希腊人称之为「叙那法伊」与「阿波罗伊埃」。因为在一切星座里，它都以这种相位从许多行星流离，又与许多行星相结。因为无论它被发现在哪个星座、在哪颗行星的界里，它都从那颗行星流离，而行向在同一星座里第二个被它进入其界的那颗行星。

[2] Look, then, at how the lord of the terms aspects it, or from what place it aspects it, and, having taken in the method of the preceding effects, you will be able to explain the whole fate of the man with true pronouncements. Look also at whose degrees it enters in the third order — for that planet too receives the power of decreeing — and so proceed up to the last degrees of the sign itself, so that you may find specifically everything that pertains to the efficacy of the Moon.

〔二〕所以，你要看界主怎样照着它，或从哪个宫位照着它；把前面讲过的效应的方法领会之后，你就能以真实的论断解释这个人的全部命运。也要看它第三个依次进入的是哪颗星的度数——因为那颗行星也取得判定之权——就这样一直推到这个星座本身的最后几度，好让你逐一找出属于月亮效力的一切。

[3] This too must be known: that in all signs, whenever the Moon has occupied the last degrees, it is moving toward no planet; for it is impeded by the obstacles of the sign that comes next. And again, when placed in the first degrees of a sign, it flows away from no planet, but then only the efficacy of the conjunction is inquired into. For all the power of the preceding degrees is passed over and abandoned at that boundary which lies between the two signs, and it obtains another efficacy from the first degree of the sign.

〔三〕这一点也必须知道：在一切星座里，每当月亮占住最后几度，它就不行向任何行星；因为它被接下来那个星座的阻隔所妨碍。反过来，当它落在一个星座的最初几度时，它不从任何行星流离，这时只探究相结的效力。因为前面各度的一切力量，在两个星座之间的那道界线上都被越过、被抛下，它从这个星座的第一度起取得另一种效力。

[4] This is the partile conjunction and separation of the Moon; for platically we shall do it by whole signs. But in every treatment we ought to treat everything by the partile method. Hence we urge you again and again with the same admonitions that, whenever you treat a nativity, you inspect the whole body of the decree together and compose everything from the aspect of each planet, inspect carefully the power of the places and degrees, and compare the nature of the signs with the qualities of the places; inspect also the conditions of the planets, and likewise the courses and phases, and the separations and conjunctions of the Moon. For in this way, whatever you treat, you will be able to explain each place with the truest pronouncements, if you have gathered all these things by the shrewd investigation of skill.

〔四〕这就是月亮精确到度的相结与流离；因为若按概略之法，我们就以整个星座来做。但在一切推究中，我们都应当以精确到度的方法来处理一切。因此我们一再以同样的告诫敦促你：每当你推究一个本命盘，都要把判定的整个身体一并察看，从每颗行星的相位把一切组合起来，仔细察看宫位与度数的力量，并把星座的本性与宫位的性质相比较；也要察看行星的状况，同样察看月亮的运行与相状，以及它的流离与相结。因为这样，无论你推究什么，只要你以机敏的技艺之探究把这一切汇集起来，就能以最真实的论断解释每个宫位。

[5] Now let the remaining treatment pass over to the beginning of the fifth book, so that, everything having been explained and shown, our whole discourse may pass over to the partile effects and to the barbarian sphere.
